4 years, extreme conditions, 5-10 camping trips a year and still love it!
This tent is amazing. We camp several times a year in the Smokey mountains in all four seasons. Myself and my two young kids fit inside with room for their little backpacks and stuffed animals. It’s easy to set up and take down. It holds heat in well when it’s cold. Not as much breathability when it is hot with the rain cover on.But it has withheld some high winds and monsoon rains without getting water in. It’s easy to pack and store and even more roomy when I camp by myself. Now four years later, the zipper is starting to get a little stuck, but that is to be expected with how much use and the kinds of weather we camp in. This has been an excellent investment. As my kids get bigger, I’m hoping to purchase a 3 man tent by Naturehike as well.

Great tent and great value
I had to come back and edit this review....I have use this tent around 20 times or so over the last 3 years now.....just 2 nights ago,, was in a major storm all night...probably around d 2 to 3 in of rain and at least 40 mph winds.....i had all the guy lines staking it down and the tent held up PERFECT!.....I slept thru most the storm the tent was so stable.....I have had in in rain and wind probably 10 times or so,, but this was big storm....even the other backpackers on the AT that stayed in shelters that night were impressed that it had held up in such a storm.. the rest of this is my 1st review after receiving It👉..........just received this tent not too long ago. I have to say that with all the pros and cons this is really a great value. The quality does seem to be there with this tent. Compared to its more expensive competitors. I purchase this tent for my wife and I during backpacking trips. The three person is perfect in my opinion for two people. You can break down the weight and items in the tent between two backpacks. There's enough room for two people and plenty of gear or two people and a dog Plus in gear. All the seams are pre sealed with seam tape the zipper seem to be of a great quality. Having the majority of the inner skin being mesh seems to be great to get good airflow when it's warm out yet still have great bug protection. I don't know how well it will perform in extremely cold weather but I have a feeling that it's going to do good. The Vince with the rain fly on should really help with preventing condensation inside the 10. There are plenty of mesh gear Pockets to store wallet sunglasses and other items in. It has a lantern hook. It's very easy to set up and take down. It does pack down pretty small and light especially for a 3 person tent. The only time that I can think of as of now at least is that the vestibule in the front isn't very large. It's definitely large enough but that's the only reason I didn't give it five stars and also because I have not tested in rain or wind or extremely cold weather yet. What I do just have a feeling that it's going to perform well I will give an updated review. But I would highly recommend this tent it seems to be one of the best values out there if you don't want to spend $400 on a tent

For the price, this can't be beat.
In preparation for a 5 day North Cascades backcountry trip, I needed a new lightweight tent for 2 people. My requirements were <5 lbs (including stakes and footprint), small packed dimensions, excellent ventilation and good waterproofness. I didn't want to break the bank on name brand stuff, so I rounded up the best Amazon options, and this one won out. Upon arrival, this tent satisfied my first two requirements, coming in right at ~5 lbs (if you throw away some of the stuff sacks), and much smaller than other similar tents I've had in the past. The other two requirements would have to wait for the trip to verify...After 5 days in the humid Washington wilderness, this tent proved to be both very breathable and waterproof. We experienced two nights of pretty heavy rain and the tent managed to keep everything underneath it dry, even after being put away wet the night before. Additionally, the tent also didn't show any signs of condensation underneath the rainfly during some of the colder nights (~40 F). For one night, we ended up having 3 people in this tent, and while it was a bit cramped, we all fit fine, and this tent seems to have a good deal more room than most "3-person" tents I've used in the past. All in all, this tent held up great. That said, there are a few issues that were encountered. First, the included footprint seems a little too big for the tent itself, meaning that the corners of the rainfly had to be carefully adjusted to ensure rain didn't fall onto parts of the footprint that extended out from under the tent. In mild rain, this probably wouldn't be an issue, but if wind is involved, rain might be able to make its way under the tent. Second, the poles (being all connected together by elastic cord) were a bit of a challenge to set up with one person, and the tips that fit into the tent grommets sometimes disconnected from the poles while breaking down the tent. Lastly, the floor of the tent seemed rather thin, and I imagine that heavy use would likely cause tearing in short order if care is not used. That said, all of these are minor concerns. The footprint oversize can easily be fixed with some duct tape in a pinch, as can the pole tips, and the thin floor is likely just a compromise of making a tent of such a light weight. All in all, I was very impressed with the tent's quality, weight, price and weatherproofness and firmly believe this is the best hiking tent you can buy in this price range. I would buy this again in a heartbeat and would recommend this brand to anybody else looking for a tent on the cheap!
