I bought one for my child with special needs. I got the one with the SIM card included. Set up the watch and subscription. The text worked initially but calls and gps didn’t. GPS said the location wouldn’t work within 72 hours. 4 days later I reached out to them through Amazon and received a reply saying they would reset the watch I replied asking a few questions and they answered my queries and told me to let them know when they could reset it, I replied telling them they could do it when they were ready. Nothing happened so I decided to send it back and replace it. The same thing happened but this time no calls, texts or gps. I reached out again explained I returned the original and was told I hadn’t replied to the original agent telling them when to reset the watch. So I said I had replied but as the problem persisted I decided to get another one. I received no response. After trying 2 watches and the same problem happening with both I decided to send the second one back too. I messaged them to tell them I wanted to cancel my subscription as I had sent 2 watches back and had a reply asking me to let them try and fix the problem before I did this. I told them I had given them 2 opportunities to fix the problems before I decided to return them and please just cancel my subscription, I received no reply. The idea is a good one and it does seem that, for some people at least, they do work, however I would suggest you purchase the watch from Amazon as it is easier to return if faulty but make sure you get one without the subscription. Update After posting my review, Paula from Xplora reached out to me about the problems I had with both watches and asked me if I would like Try a free upgrade. I’ve had the new watch for a few weeks now and I can honestly say it works really well. The school mode is great and means that he can still wear it during school time. The GPS has worked really well except for one instance when my child seemed to teleport from school in Manchester to Legoland in Windsor, however, the incorrect location reporting is really good and easy to use. I would recommend the XGO3 as it is exactly I was looking for initially.

We purchased this watch for our 10 year old son to begin giving him some freedom. The watch wasn’t simple to set up but we got there after an hour or two. The tracking feature is not brilliant but we weren’t expecting it to be 100% accurate. The watch worked as we expected it to and the battery would last for approx 2 days. We have had this watch for just under 6 months and now we’ve encountered a fatal fault. First a software update message appeared. We agreed to the update, ensuring it had sufficient battery and WiFi connection. We did the update process to then be told the watch required a further update. We have been through the update process approx 10 times before getting a message “watch has stopped working”. When pressing ok, the message reappears and leaving the watch unusable. It would receive calls but as soon as the call ended the message would reappear. There is no manual reset button, and to do so you have to disconnect the watch from the app. Having done that and turning the watch on/off, it now freezes on the “XG02” logo which appears upon turning the watch on. So as we stand the watch is completely unusable. I have sent a message to the support team and have not heard anything back from them. Overall I would describe the product as disappointing and the customer services as appalling

I have this watch for my 10 year old daughter, we thought we would give this a go as we have had a similar competitors watch in the past. We have found previous watches to not be as great as they claim and we found this watch to be slightly better. It’s definitely top for accuracy, I always checked the app to see if my daughter was located where I knew she was and it was always right. Her old watch would struggle to update quickly, whereas this watch is really quick at updating to where she is so at least I have peace of mind if she ever got lost I could find her quickly. Battery life on this could be better on this, it does last the day but then needs charging every evening so nothing different to an iPhone but it only scored lower as my daughter doesn’t use the watch as much as she would a phone so would expect the battery to last longer BUT this wouldn’t stop me having this for my other children! It has a really good app for the parents, I can call her, text her and always check where she is. Works really really well, I haven’t had any problems. I love that I can choose who she can contact etc so I always know she won’t be able to talk to strangers. My daughter loves all the bits and pieces on the watch, she’s loves being able to call and text etc and she particularly likes she’s able to put her favourite music on the watch. It took her a while to get used to the watch and she said she didn’t find that easy to use to at first so would suit the older child but she does love it. All in all I’d say this is a great first serious watch for your child that’s a really good security option to always be able to get hold of your child when they don’t have a phone yet. Plus in big playgrounds I always panic if I can’t see her now I can quickly check and I know exactly where she is.

Fabulous idea for young children/tweens. My little girl absolutely loves it, and give me reassurance as to location and know I can message and call her. Set up was easy, the size looks a little bulky on her wrist. Simple to use, great way for giving independence. You can put it onto school mode so no interference with lessons. Connectivity good. Battery only lasts a little over a day but as long as keep remembering to charge your absolutely fine. We love this watch!

Wij hebben het horloge aangeschaft voor onze 8-jarige dochter. Hadden we eerder moeten doen! Met de gps-feature op het horloge durven we haar toch iets meer vrijheid te geven. We kunnen in real-time zien waar ze is en met de safe-zone functie kan je een gebied afbakenen. Zodra ze buiten dat gebied komt krijg je als voogd een melding op je telefoon. Ook fijn is dat ze niet zomaar iedereen kan bellen of berichten. In de app kan je 2 telefoonnummers instellen als voogd, alleen die 2 nummers kan ze een bericht sturen. Verder kan je in totaal 50 telefoonnummers via de app toevoegen in de contactenlijst van het horloge. Alleen die 50 telefoonnummers kan ze dan ook bellen of door gebeld worden. Met de School modus, waarbij je de tijden zelf in kan stellen, zorg je ervoor dat het horloge niets kan behalve de tijd weergeven. Wordt ze tijdens de les ook niet afgeleid. Er zit een camera op waarmee ze leuke foto’s kan maken en met nog een paar voor geïnstalleerde apps zoals rekenmachine, alarm, zaklampje, kalender, stopwatch, voice-recorder en stappenteller kan ze meer dan genoeg doen met het horloge. De stappenteller is haar favoriet. Zelf vindt ze het jammer dat je geen apps kan installeren, maar daardoor blijft het wel een stuk veiliger.

UPDATE! Since I wrote a negative review, customer service reached out to resolve my issue. I was provided the new version of their watch as well as, 3 months of free service. SO far the watch has worked fine and has very few service issues. They provided amazing customer service and I was blown away! Thank you! The first two days the watch worked great with no issues. Then there was no service, restarted the watch and it worked. Now the watch is not working at all for the last couple of days. Restarted it and then noticed it said no SIM card. Well, the sim card came already installed. I used the tiny screwdriver that was provided and then struggled to get the plastic cover off, I had to scratch and damage the watch just to get to the SIM card. I removed and replaced and it, seemed to work for the moment. But I assume there will be more issues. I am now in a 2-year contract for $10/ month for the service that does not work. I don't want to buy my 9-year-old a cell phone and thought this was a great way to track him in the neighborhood and call him. Looks like he will get a cell phone sooner than expected.

Wir haben schon lange mit dem Kauf einer solchen GPS-Uhr für Kinder geliebäugelt und Ende Dezember die Möglichkeit bekommen, sie zu testen. Daraufhin haben wir die Xplora XGO 2 Ende Dezember bestellt und schon am nächsten Tag geliefert bekommen. Zum Schutz gab's noch eine Displayschutzfolie dazu. Wir haben uns bewusst gegen ein Silikon-Cover entschieden (eigentlich bevorzugt), um die Uhr für die schmalen Kinder-Handgelenke nicht noch größer zu machen. Seitdem ist sie hier regelmäßig in Nutzung! :-) Als Simkarte nutzen wir eine neu gekaufte Prepaid-Karte vom Discounter und konnten die Uhr nach deren Freischaltung problemfrei richtig einrichten. Die erste Einrichtung klappte Dank der super Anleitung einwandfrei, auch das sich gegenseitig Anrufen klappte sofort, worüber mein Sohn bzw. meine Kinder sich sehr gefreut haben! Diese Funktion wurde nämlich erstmal ausgiebig getestet... ;-) Beide Eltern haben die zugehörige App auf dem Handy, wodurch wir beide über die Uhr mit unserem Kind kommunizieren und die Funktionen nutzen können. Die “Freischaltung“ des zweiten Elternteils war dabei nach Anleitung kein Problem. Die Ortung per GPS klappte gleich sehr gut und auf wenige Meter genau. Wenn das nicht so sein sollte, kann man den Standort ganz einfachüber einen “Button“ in der App korrigieren, indem man die korrekte Position auf der Karte auswählt. Allerdings hatten wir einzelne Male für jeweils ganz kurz starke Ausreißer der GPS-Ortung, so dass die Uhr binnen weniger Minuten einige hundert Meter über den nahen Fluss und wieder zurück oder einige Kilometer entfernt in den Nachbarort gereist sein sollte... Diese waren aber tatsächlich gut erkennbar falsch/fehlgeortet und bei der nächsten Ortung im Verlauf schon wieder korrekt korrigiert und es passierte sehr selten, so dass wir bei einer Uhr mit diesem super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis damit durchaus leben können! Meine Kinder lieben die Funktion, uns Eltern Nachrichten schicken oder uns anrufen zu können. Die Sprachqualität ist bei den Anrufen vollkommen in Ordnung und wir haben einander bislang immer gut verstanden. Bei den Nachrichten können die Kinder Emojis, mit der integrierten Kamera fotografierte Bilder, vorgefertigte Textbausteine oder Sprachnachrichten schicken. Die Bilder haben natürlich keine tolle Qualität, aber meine Kinder sind sehr zufrieden, von daher störe ich mich nicht daran. Leider habe ich keine Möglichkeit gefunden, die Textbausteine über die Elternapp auf die eigene Situation anzupassen, das ist eine Verbesserung, die ich mir wünschen würde. Aber grundlegende Antworten sind vorhanden und für den Rest wird nun die Sprachfunktion fleißig genutzt. Die Sprachnachrichten funktionieren nämlich sehr gut und werden von den Kindern gerne genutzt. Bei der Einrichtung der Sicherheitszone hätte ich gerne den Bereich um unsere Wohnung, um die Schule und den Schulweg abgedeckt, was quasi einem langgezogenen Rechteck entspricht. Dies klappt leider nicht so, wie ich es gerne nutzen würde. Die Zone ist immer ein Kreis um einen bestimmten Ort und man kann zwar mehrere Zonen haben, diese dürfen sich aber leider nicht überlappen. Damit habe ich die Wahl, entweder einen großen Kreis auf etwa die Mitte des Schulweges zu setzen und damit auch den Bereich bis über den nahen Fluss und das Industriegebiet auf der anderen Seite des Ortes jenseits der großen Bundesstraße freizugeben oder aber mehrere kleinere Kreise und dann immer wieder Meldungen zu bekommen, dass mein Kind eine Sicherheitszone verlassen bzw betreten hat. Entschieden habe ich mich für die erste Möglichkeit, bin aber mit beiden Varianten nicht ganz glücklich und würde mich sehr freuen, wenn die Entwickler in Zukunft individuellere Sicherheitszonen ermöglichen könnten. Der Schulmodus funktioniert wirklich gut und lässt sich einfach einrichten. Man kann dabei den Tag angeben, für den er gelten soll und natürlich mehrere anlegen, so dass individuelle Zeiten für jeden Tag möglich sind. Was meine Kinder und uns etwas stört, ist die laute Startmelodie nach dem Anschalten. Da hätten wir sehr gerne eine Option, sie leiser zu stellen oder ganz abzuschalten, aber das ist jammern auf hohem Niveau. Der integrierte Schrittzähler ist eine ganz nette Funktion, wobei mein Sohn sich dafür noch nicht wirklich interessiert. Ich erwarte aber, dass sich das vermutlich in naher Zukunft ändern wird... Es gibt auch einen Wecker, der aber wegen des notwendigen nächtlichen Ladens noch nicht genutzt wurde. Die Stoppuhr ist super nett und wird noch oft genutzt werden, selbiges gilt für die integrierte kleine Taschenlampe. Einen Kalender gibt es auch, ebenfalls eine Aufzeichnungsfunktion für Sprache. Sogar Lieder können auf der Uhr gespeichert und abgespielt werden. Dafür das Lied über die Nachrichten auf die Uhr schicken und dort dann speichern. (Unten links auf die Noten tippen, dann die maximal 5MB große Datei auswählen.) Die Elternapp hat auch einen Bereich, in dem man Ziffernblätter (für die X6 Play und X6 Pro) kaufen und Spiele spielen kann. Dabei werden Coins benötigt. Die Coins bekommt man für gelaufene Schritte. Leider sind viele der Spiele Premiumkunden (kostenpflichtiges Abo) vorbehalten, aber es gibt auch welche, die ohne Premium-Account gespielt werden können. :-) Der Akku hält einen knappen Tag, also muss die Uhr jeden Abend wieder geladen werden. Dieses funktioniert super einfach, man muss nur den magnetischen Adapter des Ladekabels hinten an die Kontakte anschließen. Sehr praktisch ist die Funktion, dass man als Eltern eine Meldung erhält, wenn der Akku einen niedrigen Level erreicht, so wird man immer ans Laden erinnert. Ein wenig mehr Akkukapazität wäre nett, aber auch hier sehe ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und kann gut mit dem täglichen Laden leben. (Zumal selbst Premium-Smartwatches aus ganz anderen Preiskategorien oftmals jeden Abend geladen werden müssen...!) Die Bedienung der Uhr selbst ist super einfach - man wischt, wie man es von anderen Smartwatches kennt, auf dem Display von oben nach unten, unten nach oben, rechts nach links etc. und kann für “Zurück“ aufs X Tippen. Wir haben mit dieser Uhr jedenfalls das bekommen, was wir haben wollten: Eine Möglichkeit, mit unserem Kind kommunizieren zu können, wenn es nun zunehmend “flügger“wird und mehr unterwegs ist, ohne dafür gleich ein Handy mitgeben oder ein Vermögen ausgeben zu müssen. Die Möglichkeit der Ortung ist sehr beruhigend, wobei wir im Alltag selten nachsehen. Wenn wir mal wieder Geld “übrig“ haben sollten, würden wir wohl auf ein höheres Modell upgraden, aber ich finde, dass dieses Einsteiger-Modell ein wirklich gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat und vor allem die Grundfunktionen gut beherrscht!

Ha tutte le caratteristiche di un telefono, tranne l'accesso a Internet Già dal packaging si intuisce la qualità del prodotto, cura dettagli e materiali ottimi lo contraddistinguono dalla concorrenza. Configurazione e attivazione semplicissima, basta scaricare l'app Xplora (sia iOS che Android), creare un account inserire il numero di telefono della sim precedentemente inserita nello smartwatch e accoppiare il nuovo dispositivo all'app inquadrando il QR code con la fotocamera dello smartphone ed il gioco è fatto. App fatta benissimo molto semplice e in lingua italiana, tramite l'app è possibile messaggiare con lo smartwatch, caricare la lista dei contatti della rubrica, impostare sveglie/allarmi e configurare l'orario scuola. Ora veniamo alla cosa più importante di questo smartwatch, il gps, ottima ricezione e posizionamento nelle mappe con approssimativa di poche decide di metri, la geolocalizzazione è davvero il suo fiore all'occhiello, attendibile, veloce e precisa. Questo è il punto di forza, in ogni momento possiamo tracciare e gli spostanenti dei nostri figli e all'occorrenza chiamarli o essere chiamati. È possibile creare delle zone di sicurezza, che ti avviseranno ogni volta che tuo figlio esce o entra nella zona. Comodissimo anche il pulsante laterale che se premuto fa partire la chiamata SOS. Come operatore ho windtre e devo dire che l'orologio ha un ottima ricezione di segnale sia 2g/3d e 4g, comodissima anche la connettività Wi-Fi. Ben fatto anche il menu dell'orologio, chiaro semplice e intuitivo. Prodotto adatto sia ai più piccoli ma anche ai più grandicelli. Un altro aspetto da non sottovalutare che pone questo prodotto nel top di gamma è il servizio clienti, paragonabile si contact center dei marchi più blasonati. Servizio clienti veloce, competente, tecnico e disponibile a trovare qualsiasi tipo soluzione pur di soddisfare il cliente. Complimenti davvero poche volte ho trovato un servizio simile. Ultimo punto di forza ma certamente non per importanza è la sezione Goplay, il contapassi integrato sblocca traguardi e missioni, possibilità di partecipare a vere e proprie campagne fatte su misura per bambini, ricevere gettoni in premio e convertirli in premi. Iniziativa fantastica con ottime partnership. Orologio water resistent, buona la fotocamera e buona anche la durata della batteria. Che altro dire? Acquistatelo e non ve ne pentirete.

Es cuadrado y tamaño de 1,4 Pulgadas Puede realizar y recibir llamadas de solo contactos guardados. Tambien puede recibir y enviar textos, emojis, imágenes, mensajes de voz. Incluye botón de emergencia que el niño puede presionar para notificar a los contactos de su ubicación. Este producto es compatible con la mayoría de redes como Movistar, Orange, Vodafone, Más móvil (Jazztel no) Es muy completo, lo recomiendo para la tranquilidad del niño y los papas.
