The book is well laid out and contains all of the information you will need to study for the aligned BCS exam.I first ordered the paper version and was very disappointed with the quality of the print in the book when it arrived. It look like something that had been printed on a 10yr old inject as a home project. The book was well bound as you'd expect but for me it was hard to read and so of no use in the long term.The Kindle version on the other hand is excellent, well laid out in electronic format and just want I was looking for.I would suggest getting the electronic version - you'll miss out having a book on the shelf (which I wanted) but at least it will be usable.

Ultimately you need to understand the subject matter to use this book best. Its a reference for those studying on the associated courses and is really helpful revision material for the exams. Its not something you'll be constantly referring to in day-to-day security matters though - and it more theory than tech. Definitely worth having but not a weighty tome covering all security matters - its only for what it says it is.
