I'm giving to my senior dog for eye support. My vet confirmed these are safe to open the capsule and add the powder directly to her food. My 30 lb dog gets 1 per day. In addition to the basics of eye support: astaxanthin, lutein, zeaxanthin, I was looking for a clean source of concentrated anthocyanins that also tasted good. This bilberry capsule fits the bill, she happily eats the powder mixed in with her food. Hopefully this will contribute to lifelong good vision for her.

I take Bilberry because I have wet macular in my left eye. When I stopped taking it the macular became worse and when I take it my eye seems to inprove faster. I learned when I stopped taking it and all of a sudden the macular became worse so I'm back on it ad last time I went to the retina doctor I saw he scan of y eye and it had improved since my last appointment.
