GEAR AID HEROCLIP (Small) Carabiner Gear Clip and Hook, for Hanging Bags, Purses, Lanterns, Strollers, Tools, Helmets, Water Bottles, and More

Bought this as a fun and useful tool to have on my backpack to keep it off the ground when I'm at a table. Overall, it seems well built, but takes a bit of fiddling to get the hook into the open/ready position from the closed position. The hook works on most table tops as long as the table top is not more than an inch. More than that, the design of the hook prevents it from staying on as it slips off the edge. In this case, a standard 'handbag hook' or 'handbag hanger' is cheaper, as portable (just toss it in a pocket in the bag you're carrying) and fits on more tabletops. This product only really makes sense if you want to be able to also attach this to poles, branches (more friction) and the like and be able to have it work as what it really is - a(n overpriced) carabiner.

Amazing karabiner. Works amazing on my sling bag as well as my backpack. Very strong and sturdy. Would love to get more of these in all the other sizes

Voilà le genre de petit objet, qui paye pas de mine comme ça au premier abord, mais qui se révèle en fait être un sacré Banger ! Plus pratique, tu meurs ! ce mousqueton passe partout, relativement léger (relativement j’ai dit), accompagne discrètement mes sacs à dos et autres sacs bandoulière. L’idée de génie, c’est que plutôt de laisser trainer ces derniers au sol au bistrot, au restaurant, ou dans l’amphi (beurk), Bam ! par magie, je suspends mon sac au rebord de la table ou du bureau grâce à ce mousqueton magique, et le voilà qui flotte élégamment au-dessus du vide, comme par magie, facilement accessible et en sécurité. Je suis fan. Et c’est pas fini. Ce mousqueton fait aussi office de … mousqueton et permet d’y accrocher plein d’autres choses (clés, poncho, menottes). Et ce qui ne gâche rien, c’est que ce gadget est bien solide et bien conçu. Attention cependant, j’ai le format « petit » (pequeno pour les hispanophones), et celui-ci pourrait ne pas résister à une charge trop conséquente comme un sac à dos de 30l chargé à bloc. Je dis ça je dis rien. Bref, une valeur sûre, et au passage une belle idée de cadeau! (de rien).

Ok, it is expensive. We all know that. But there aren’t really any good alternatives. I actually use this hook much more than I expected when I ordered it. I was going to use it to hang my backpack on my office desk but I ended up using it all the time! It is perfect on the bus when you don’t want to keep your backpack on your knees but you don’t want to put your backpack in the dirty bus floor either. With this hook you can hang it everywhere! I can absolutely recommend buying this hook.
