To put it temple, it taste exactly like the topping you find in regular movie stores. I wasn’t aware that this is the type of ingredient that they add and movie theater popcorn. The amount you get, especially with the purchase I’ve had and gone through multiple bags of popcorn, and still on the exact same One that I purchased. So you get a lot more value out of it because a little goes a long way. It’s a little bit salty for a topping, but that’s expected. You don’t need to add a lot. It taste excellent. It’s a perfect addition to any popcorn to enhance it whether it has zero butter or butter included in microwavable bags it really makes a difference.

This Flavacol gives popcorn that classic movie-theater taste I’ve been trying to recreate at home. The salt is very fine, so it sticks to the popcorn evenly instead of settling at the bottom. A little goes a long way—I use about ½ teaspoon per ½ cup of kernels. If you use too much, it can get overly salty, so measuring is important. The container will last a long time and works well with stovetop poppers and Whirley Pop. I knocked off one star only because it’s easy to over-season if you’re not careful. Overall, a solid choice if you want authentic theater-style popcorn at home.

We had a popcorn distribution company where I was living and they gave me some with a purchase I made. Now I keep this salt all the time. I do use this in some of my cooking too. Just not as much. This is a great deal for 2. We love theater popcorn and this is the same stuff they use.
