Q: Would the bow remove easily without leaving an obvious space? Want to get for my son who lost his beloved yorkie last month, but his was a boy.

Yes be sure it would. I personally took it off and brushed his hair on both sizes of his head. I was in the same case as your son, my beloved male yorkie died in October 2015. He was 16 1/2 years old and I really know what he feels. This stuffed yorkie is really adorable... and even if he can't replace the loss, it remains huggable !

I don’t have it anymore but, I think it did.

Yes! I actually have a small brush I use in my Yorkie.

Cute

I actually gave it 3 stars because it IS soft but not too, which is GOOD. It is very Life-Like. Very Cute. Have had it for a few months and looks as good as when it arrived, even with handling by the young kids. No hair has fallen off or even pulled out. Good Toy but it also might depend on the kids who handle them.

Looks so real!

We have Yorkies and I bought this for my granddaughter. It looks like a real Yorky. The fur is incredibly soft so well-made she really loves it.
