What Is This?: This review is based only on my personal experience. It’s a review, NOT a recommendation. I’ve been very happy with this product, and have purchased it many times over the past year or so. It has filled my hair in nicely after ongoing medications were making me nearly bald across the front 2 to 3inches (front to back inches) of my hairline. The “receeding areas” on either side of the front hairline recessed even further back than the hairline itself, and were totally bald in those spots. Those spots have filled back in too, but like the hairline, are not 100% full again, as the individual hairs are finer (thinner) than they originally were. But the biggie is that when looking through my hair (that is, trying to now) I can no longer see the the curvature of my skull. I take a doctor-approved 50,000 mcg daily, split between morning and night. I’ve experienced no side effects other than hair growth exactly where I want to grow it, thankfully lol. I suspected I was seeing some change at about one month. At three months, I was a happy camper, but still had quite a way to go. Now, I think I’ve achieved all the growth I’m going to without upping the dosage again. I did up the dose when a new medication caused my hair to start falling out once again, and that fixed the problem. The hair came back in quickly at that point. (Hypertension and cholesterol meds are notorious for causing this problem.) Please Note: Nothing will ever allow or cause more hair to grow than you originally had. Also, this review is about biotin with keratin, not the specific brand I’m taking. Proof: I did not take pictures starting out because I had no real expectations of success. Later, with nothing to compare it hem to, I never saw the point of bothering to take pics then, either. I regret both those decisions. My nails have stopped peeling and tearing off past the quick. . My hair started growing a lot faster and thicker. I see the difference. I take mine first thing in the morning and I do not eat after I take it for several hours and it does not bother my stomach in anyway, and I do have a sensitive stomach. It’s a capsule and it’s not that big. Very easy to swallow I highly recommend if you want a biotin supplement to work. THIS IS THE ONE!! Stop western your money on other brands
