I absolutely LOVE this product! I bought it because my new rescue dog has giardia and several other intestinal parasites including hookworm. While receiving daily medications to treat these conditions, her poops were still a horrible liquid mess and it seemed very uncomfortable for her to try using the bathroom. After feeding her these carrots according to directions, her poops immediately firmed up and looked healthy and normal! **I just want to be clear that I am not using these as a medical treatment for her parasites- only as a supplement to ensure she has firm poops.** After additional testing from the vet, her parasites unfortunately have yet to clear, but these carrots help ensure her poops are firm in the meantime and I intend to continue feeding her these carrots after her treatment is completed since they offer so many other health benefits and my dog loves them! Aside from working incredibly well, the thing I appreciate most about this product is the convenience. These are VERY convenient to use since the carrots are dehydrated pellets- making the bag light while not taking up very much space, unlike canned pumpkin (which is also so expensive). All you need to do is microwave a mug of some water and add a tablespoon or two and allow it to soak for a couple minutes. I prepare the rest of my dog’s food while I wait and by the time I’m done, the carrots have absorbed all the water and look fresh and mushy! I find this so much easier and less wasteful than opening a can only to use a small amount and storing it in my fridge for the next several days. It is also much, much less expensive than canned pumpkin for the amount you get!

This is amazing! So easy to rehydrate and the pups love the taste as a topper. But the real thing is that it definitely works GREAT and right away you see improvements in the stools for the better. I will continue using this as it is truly a wonderful item to put on your dogs food .

It is great! It took my sick dog from having to take medication for diarrhea to not at all. I love it, I mix it with fish oil for one of my dogs and the other (allergic to fish) just do hot water. I love this stuff and am sad that I didn't know about it before. The only warning I have is when it is fully hydrated it looks like baby food, but both of my dogs eat it right up and even lick the the bowl clean.

This seems to help promote regularity and firm stools. It is possibly better than psylium husks alone but A combination of 75% Olewo carrots and 25% psylium husks seems to work best (i.e. in the Olewo recipe, substitute psylium husk). We use both fish oil and a pat of butter making sure to let the mixture to fully hydrate.

I have two elderly dogs who I try to add as much nutrition to their diet as possible. One dog has anal gland issues and I know he just loves carrots. So I bought this hoping it would be helpful. Well both dogs love the carrot pellets, I pour warm/hot water over them to dissolve them some before feeding. It then mixes well with their food and both dogs devour it. I give high marks as both dogs do love it, as far as helping with scooting I am torn. It hasn't completely stopped the habit - slowed it down some but I can't say it has helped completely with the gland issues. I am certain though that they are getting more nutrition with these pellets and it is very easy to feed to my dogs daily. It seems to last a while too as you don't really need a lot. The price in my opinion is a bit high so I am knocking off a star for the prices.

LOVE THESE! My golden gets hydrated carrots (and the beets) every morning on his breakfast and his poop is perfect. He’s been on these for 5 years. He had stomach problems as a puppy until he was about 2 when I started giving him the carrots. For 5 years his poop and stomach has been soooo much better! Cant recommend these more! And much better than pumpkin in my opinion.

I call these carrots "magical carrots," which has made the people in my inner circle laugh but that is only because they don't understand the magical transformation I have witnessed in my dog's stools in less than two weeks. I have a 7 month English bulldog who we got from the breeder at 11 weeks. At his initial vet visit, giardia was detected in his stool. After battling giardia for weeks and being on two rounds of meds, his stools were terrible. By terrible, I mean no form to them whatsoever. We switched his food from chicken to lamb, gave him probiotics, and gave him the prebiotic of pumpkin. No noticeable change to his stools. Finally, in May the vet suggested we switch him to a prescription HP diet. We had no recourse as nothing else had worked. After a week on the prescription diet, his stools did noticeably improve, but the stools he would have later in the day would be a little messy. However, in recent weeks, his stools really started to backslide to the point that they had basically returned to what they were before we started the HP diet. Even the vet was perplexed by this. Although we know that seasonal allergies (grass pollen) are contributing to his poor stools, it is very upsetting to see diarrhea and loose stools multiple times a day. When I stumbled upon these carrots, I was amazed by the fact that nearly every reviewer of the couple thousand reviewers said they worked. Within two days, his stools were formed. It has taken about a week and a half, but we now are consistently getting the "perfect poop" advertised on the bag. Yes, you do have to know what the underlying cause of your dog's diarrhea or loose stools is and manage or treat that cause, but these carrots have really helped feed the good bacteria in his gut and, as a result, have allowed us to see healthy stools for the first time since getting him in February. I can not recommend this product enough!!

We have had our greyhound for 3 months and in all that time she has had a sensitive stomach like a lot of greyhounds. I was giving her freshly cooked carrots but she could not digest them, and I have since found out that dogs cannot get the nutrients from veg as they cannot digest them. Well, within a week of our grey eating the Olewo carrots, her coat is beautifully shiny and her bowel movements are much better, no more runs and nice firm stools. It seems that she is getting a lot more nutrients since she has started on Olewo.You only need to give them 1 tablespoon a day soaked in warm water for 10 mins then add to their food. I would highly recommend this product for dogs with sensitive stomachs, if they have diarrohea (spelled wrong I am sure) then they cannot get all the nutrients from any of their food, so this product will ensure better nutrient take up and therefore better health.

We have a Greyhound from Beijing China. She is a meat trade survivor. We have had her three years. We have tested her for everything they can possibly test for because we couldn’t understand why she never had a solid BM .. like, not ever 🥺 she was two years old when we got her and we have never been able to pick up her poop we would just get what we can off the ground. Literally it was like soft serve ice cream or worse 🥴 Within 24 hours of using this product. We noticed a difference, Within a week, a significant difference and now three weeks in and we can finally and happily say she is having consistent solid BM We are thrilled that we can finally pick them up on our walks and especially at our trailer park where we had to carry around a water bottle just so we could wash some of the spots where she went the bathroom before😵‍💫 I would say it works!! (we learned that some dogs just like humans can have irritable bowel And it was something we were gonna have to deal with)
