Q: It doesn't have space between the padding and the external shell to insert a clamp for an intercom system? Which intercom system is compatible? thanks

I have the SENA 10S and it fit perfectly. So, what I did was pull the insert which skirts the bottom edge of the helmet. That also enabled me to remove the interior padding so I could run the speaker wires.

Q: how do you measure for a helmet to get the correct size since it looks like I can't return this if it doesn't fit.

Loose measuring tape, like a tailor would have, or visit a tailor for help. if those aren't an option, then hat sizes work the same. 6 3/4 - 6 7/8 is a Small; 7 - 7 1/8 is a Medium. 7 1/4 - 7 3/8 is a large....etc etc.

Yes there its. according to bell, it is the same on that fits the star. they call it a nose guard or breath deflector. make sure it its not the breath box if you order one tho. two different things!they also have a chin curtain.if you call bell, they can give you the part numbers.

Q: Does it have a quick release chin strap?

Most of BELL helmet has same chin trap which is NOT the quick release it needs little more time then the others, however, it will be easy to release after few times of using it, go ahead and buy it I strongly recommend this helmet
