Q: {Only answer if you know}: Does this work with jeans? How does this compare with a spin dryer (e.g. 'Nina Spin Dryer' or 'Panda Spin Dryer)?

Never used this for jeans but I'm sure it will work. It rings out a car washing mit which is quit thick in size after being wet & heavy. All I did was adjust the rollers.

Q: Can i attatch an electric motor

The crank handle comes detached from the main shaft and you have to bolt it on in order to use the item. If you can find a way to hook a motor to the main shaft I guess you could do it but there is nothing obvious in the design that makes it conducive to putting on a pulley or anything like that. I don't think the shaft would hold up to motorization.

Q: How well does this product do in salt water environments?

I can't see where salt, hard, soft or any other type of water, if there is another type, would make any difference in the performance of the dynajet wringer. My suggestion for best performance of this product is to keep the tension adjustments tight, otherwise you probably will have to wring your towel several times to get enough water out so that wiping your car does not leave water spots.If you will keep the product outside and you live near salt water, as I do, keep it clean . Clean the rubber rollers with soft water and keep all metal parts clean and well oiled at all times.
