As a cutting board is wood it soaks up any liquid you put on it. So if you are using harsh chemicals or other products to clean you boards. It is very likely some residual product is left behind to potentially be absorbed by food products.What I like about this product is that it is 100% plant based so you can clean with the knowledge that you will not later be ingesting any chemicals or other components of a cleaner that could do you harm.
This oil cleans well and adds some protection.The product is effective enough that you can use a dab and clean a board. This helps to extend the supply.I was unable to locate any warranty either in the product information or item description.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this a very nice all natural plant-based soap product. It is a bit pricey for the amount you get in the bottle. Which I the only downside. Unfortunately, going green and clean is not compatible with keeping your wallet full. Higher prices are demanded for these specialty products. The problem is that I am using it to clean a huge cutting board and it takes a lot to apply a thin layer to the entire surface. This would be better to use on smaller cutting boards. I ended up putting a bunch in a small glass of hot water and cleaned that way. It did a good job of cleaning.Perhaps this isn't the best solution for large cutting boards. There's nothing wrong with the product, it's just that the bottle is small and to follow the instructions, it takes quite a bit to do the job.

I like that this is plant based. I use it to wash my cutting boards and my wooden utensils. A small amount is need so this should go a long way. After washing and drying my boards with this soap I oiled them and they are definitely rejuvenated.

Pretty good. First time using this specific type of cleaner. My cutting board looks so much better.

This is just a bit thicker than water and is easy to use. It does have a soap smell but it isn't strong. I tried to compare the ingredients to Murphy's oil but couldn't find the ingredients on the latter whereas the ingredients are right on the front for this. I might try to use it to clean my instrument fretboards and clean leather but I am a little weary about that as the directions say to wash off, however none of the ingredients look any worse than not being able to rinse Murphy's oil off.

We've got a few wood cutting boards that are getting a bit long in the tooth. The wife loves cutting ONIONS of all things on the small board. This stuff worked great at getting the smell out and the wood looks better than it has in a long time. IMO, it gets better the more you use it.

I liked that this cleaning solution is totally unscented. I usually use dish soap to clean my cutting board, and this solution works just as well. It foams well, as you can see in the attached photo. I have two wood cutting boards and an island with a wood top. This product does a great job of cleaning these items. Also tried it on wooden spoons and it did a good job on those as well. This is a better and easier to use product than a wood cleaner that I've used before. Don't forget to shake up the bottle before using!
