I got these to repair boilers if needed. They are very well made and I can also use them if I needed them to repair my van. Great value for the money very good product and good package too.

this is my first tapping set and i hope they last. super affordable, even the smaller sizes haven’t broken after tapping steel (and maybe being a little more heavy handed then necessary). They definitely get the job done.

This is a great little set for most general workshop applications . All most popular sizes of metric taps and dies for a range of applications . Ideal set for mechanics and hobbyists alike Great price and value for money. The taps are of serial tap design which allows for differing grades of fit condition to match your needs. Also easier to cut in awkward materials.

Don’t bother with this set, the tolerances between the moving parts are so wide that everything is swinging about as you try to use it. Bits snapping and things unscrewing themselves as you’re working….just horrible, save your money!

The thread gauge was missing from the set. (I don't think this is essential because it's easy to check thread against the taps. ) I returned the set due to the poor quality, compared with professional Dormer taps. See photo of M6 LncBoc tap and M6 Dormer tap. Note the grooves down the LncBoc tap are much narrower making it harder for the swarf to escape. This could cause the tap to jam and possibly break. The surface finish is also rough by comparison. Do you really need a set containing sizes you'll never use ? I'm just going to buy better quality in the sizes I need.
