Easy to clean easy to use

I’ve had this grill for about 6 months, it was a replacement for an old George Foreman which came to its end. It was primarily selected for its size. The overall dimensions (limited storage) and the hot plate size for the type food I cook. On the whole it performs well. I’ve not timed it, but believe cooking takes a bit longer than its predecessor, but expected that as it is/was lower wattage. Only four stars, as the lid does not open/hinge quite as wide as the Forman. In other words, thick items such as panini don’t fit very well when the lid is closed on the top of it.

Love the speed, it is ready to go. Can place frozen chipolatas on it, turn it on, close the lid, really done crispy and brown right through in minutes. Would recommend a rubber tongs to lift the lid as it is indeed very hot and a metal tongs scratches the enamel exterior. Needs a flat possibly metal tray to sit on, has a small overflow [juice/fat] long thin tray but really needs more protection for whatever you place it on. Super for toast. or toasted sarnie.
