Patriot PE2 Electric Fence Energizer, 0.10 Joule

This works amazing for dogs! My dogs kept chewing the plastic fence I installed this and all it took was one shock and they refuse to get near the fence! Some things I will mention the shock gets more intense the longer it’s touched, I will add buy a grounding wire the kit doesn’t come with one. Lastly I mounted this about 20 feet from my house. I ran an extension cord from my house to the device but I buried it so the dogs couldn’t mess with it.

I have two and they work great. The first is in it's 5th season and going strong.

I had groundhogs, rabbits and squirrels ruining my garden. This is fantastic. I have had it for two years without issue and it permitted me to have the best ever vegetable garden both years!!! All the pests moved to my neighbours' gardens LOLOL. I set it up with a 6 foot grounding pole driven into the ground and 5 levels of aluminum wire. on three sides (the fourth side is against the garden shed).

Didn’t want to go this route but after all is said and done wow what a difference. My German Shepherds were a terror on my back yard and deck, not now. The older one learned in one touch and the younger very determined one got the idea after his fourth. After a few days they’ve come to live with it and are fine. I can come home now and not worry about them jumping the fence while gone. Poly wire works great with it and very easy to work with.
