I recently purchased this item because I suffer from hypothyroidism and one of the things Dr Amen suggests in his book Unleash the Power of the Female Brain is a good fish oil supplement. Well, after much, much research, I realized that not all fish oil pills are created equal. I was using a brand I bought from my local grocery store and I was having to take 3 to 4 huge pills a day just to get the recommended 1000mg a day, the reason being that they use low grade fish oil and a lot of fillers that are bad for your health. With this pharmaceutical strength pill I only have to take one pill a day to get the recommended dose, in fact one pill gives you 1100mg a day. Plus this particular formula has also Vitamin D3 which is a plus. I never have fish burps, and in fact if I do burp its an orange taste. The pill has this yummy orange taste, and absolutely no fish burp. The company is environmentally conscious as well and they use good products and quality fish. The packaging is very attractive and I like that because it says they care about not only what is on the inside of the box they sell but how their product is viewed and packaged. The have so many fish oil options as well, from people with triglyceride preference, to kids, to teens, to cardio specific. It is a bit on the pricier side, I was taking two a day and I realized id have to buy two boxes a month, a bit much for a single mom so I settled for one pill a day. Im on my second box and I also ordered the teen formula for my 16 year old daughter and the kids formula for my son. I know the grocery store one is half the price but I just cant put a price on my health and the health of my kiddies, I love this product and I will continue to budget it into my expenses so we all continue to benefit from fish oil.

So Ive been meaning to start using an Omega 3 supplement to help balance out the bad ones and this seems to do a pretty good job. When used consistently, my mood improved. I would be grumpy often and very easy to get annoyed. This has helped me be more level headed and just overall more happier especially at work. A couple of cons (maybe not for everyone): -The campuses are pretty big, so this is not going to be for kids. For me, its not hard to swallow but I can definitely feel it on its way down. -Take this with food. The longer you wait to take it after eating, the more likely you are to burp a fishy smell. I find that taking the pill right in the middle of a meal works best. Otherwise i get burps. There arent alot of them but they happen and the fish taste is present. But even then, its not that bad. Worth the money for one of the highest concentration of omegas available. Already on the second bottle. Would recommend.

I absolutely love these. I have been taking them a few months now. They do not cause upset stomach or burps. Great quality as well. I love garden of life products

After it was recommended that I use fish oil for my health, I started taking these. I trust this brand. I also wanted to avoid the dreaded fish burps - I never get them with these. They are easy to swallow too.

Garden of Life - Minami MorEPA Platinum, Plus Vitamin D3 Supercritical Omega 3 Fish Oil, Orange, 30 softgels I ordered the fish oil for my husband. He seems to like it because I'm on the Subscribe and Save Mailing list. I think it's a pretty decent product since he only takes 1 tablet daily vs. other brands. Would recommend for others who just have time for one tablet daily.
