As a long-time cat owner, dealing with hairballs is just a fact of life, but this IAMS Proactive Health Adult Hairball Care with Chicken and Salmon has truly been a game-changer for my two cats. I purchased the 7 lb. bag, and it's fantastic value for the quality. Hairball Control: This is the big one. My senior long-hair, Mittens, used to struggle weekly, but since switching her to this IAMS formula a few months ago, the frequency has dramatically decreased. The specialized fiber blend definitely works—we've seen a noticeable difference in her comfort and overall digestive health. Palatability and Flavor: My younger cat, Jasper, is notoriously picky, but he dives into the bowl every time! The combination of Chicken and Salmon must be incredibly appealing, as I’ve had no issues getting either cat to switch over. They seem to genuinely love the taste and texture. Overall Health Benefits: Beyond the hairball reduction, both of my cats have coats that are shinier and softer than ever before, which I attribute to the balanced nutrition and quality protein sources (real chicken is the first ingredient!). They also seem more energetic and satisfied after meals. If you are struggling with hairball issues or just looking for a high-quality, palatable food that supports overall feline wellness, I highly recommend giving this IAMS formula a try. Great cat food! Helped our family cat lose 6 pounds over roughly 2 years. Cats (2) love the taste, and by changing up the flavor on orders it gives them some variety on top of other treats/wet food. Feeds our two cats for roughly 2 1/2 months, so quite a bit of food! Additionally, Amazon has the best price out of all the shops we have tried and it only gets better with the subscribe and save option. Only smaller note is that the salmon flavor does have a much stronger smell, although we keep the food in an airtight container so it doesn’t bother us much.

This food has great ingredients, and my pet loves it! It keeps their coat shiny and their digestion regular. No complaints at all—it’s a reliable, well-balanced food option for pets.
