I live this pen
I recently had the opportunity to try out this pen, and overall, it offers a mix of impressive features and a few areas for improvement. Starting with the positives, the pen boasts excellent quality and delivers a smooth writing experience. It feels like a premium product, thanks to its solid weight and classy matte black metal design, which adds a touch of sophistication to any desk setup. However, there are some durability concerns. While the metal construction gives the pen a sturdy feel, I encountered issues with the clicker mechanism breaking after only a few uses. Additionally, the grip has mixed reviews; although it complements the sleek aesthetic, it’s not entirely metal and can feel a bit loose, which might affect comfort during extended writing sessions. When it comes to value for money, opinions are divided. Some users find it worth the investment due to its elegant design and writing performance, while others believe the cost doesn’t align with its durability issues. In conclusion, this pen is a stylish and smooth-writing instrument that excels in appearance and initial performance but may fall short in long-term durability and grip comfort for some users.

Best pen ever!!
This is my everyday pen. It's very comfortable. It doesn't leak. It does smear sometimes but that's a small price to pay for this amazing pen! The write speed is awesome. The ink is so dark, it's unmatched. I've yet to find another pen to match up to this one

Great metal pen as an EDC
A great EDC pen. Use it to jot dates or information in my planner. I chose the extra fine. Tend to write small and maximize the space on the page. Compared to more expensive gel or ballpoint pens, this one feels right in my hand. Some say the fusion is a bit bigger than the regular G2’s. Don’t feel it is that dire. This joins my fountain pens everywhere I go. A great go to pen. Price is good. I enjoy using it. No smearing. Feels good and enjoyable to look at too. Well worth the price, as well as an EDC

Nice for a G2 lover
If you like G2 pens, you’ll like this. Feels better and sturdier in the hand and makes writing feel so much smoother.

Metal pen that is actually thin and light weight.
I am transfering from using my Pilot G2 Limited pens to this one because I wanted a thinner and less bulky metal barrel with possibly even a lighter weight. I was hesitant about not having a comfort grip on the Acroball 1000, but the gripless all metal design actually works for this particular pen. It is a crazy thin and light weight full metal barrel. The clicking mechanics feel natural and not clunky at all. It glides with hand motion and has almost too smooth writing for my preference (possibly because I was using gel ink refills on my G2 Limited pens instead of whatever possibly different ink type the Acroball 1000 uses). I was contemplating using pilots extra fine or ultra fine ink refills, and I may do so in the future, but this product is better than I expected right out of the package. I think the writing experience can be more appropriated if the pen naturally used an extra fine or an ultra fine ink size. The ultra fine ink size may be a little too excessive, though. Also, in the quick search I did, I could not find those sizes specifically made for Acroball 1000 pens. It is possible that there may be a generic Pilot ink refill that happens to fit this pen in the extra fine size i am looking for.

Perfect Daily Driver in the Pen World
I've used this pen to write an entire 320 page manuscript and still love it, which says a lot. The matte finish is nice because it seems to show less wear than the glossy finish on my other G2 Limited cases. The pad at the bottom is a total lifesaver for comfort. After I've written a few thousand words in a day, I'll still have a small dent on the inside of my right ring finger from pressure and grip, but it has never become painful or created a callus. The G2 ink is easy flowing which also means I don't get as much hand fatigue. Buying ink refills are inexpensive for this model so all in all it's a great pen if you're looking for a true workhorse.
