Has anyone had an issue with them being too short? Looking to use them primarily with a Jeep.

Might be short but it does the job I’ve used it in sand only I’ve haven’t used it in mud might work if mud not to deep

Do they work with 2wd vehicles

These will provide traction to any tire they are under. It will provide traction to the 2wd vehicle tires just like it would for a 4wd tire. If your 2wd vehicle is rear wheel drive place these under the rear wheels. If front wheel drive then you would need them under the front.

anybody use these on very soft powdery sand? able to get out without jacking up?

I bought them to use on soft power sand. I have no reason to believe they won't work the are very well made

are those nipples hollow?

The molded nipples are not hollow. They are solid plastic. I used the board in the snow and the vehicle did not wear through any part of the board.
