I have only used citric acid for descaling my electric kettle so far. Mine is a hard water area and oust did not do the job. This works and I am delighted as it is also non toxic.

Best thing for descaling a kettle....not much in the packet.

But it works! Great for shower screens, around taps, etc. I live in Wiltshire, whose water is 90 per cent chalk, so this really helps.
