Absolutely love these hooks but they are not the most comfortable after a few hours whereas with the silicone hooks i can keep going for longer

These crochet hooks are unfortunately not ergonomic. As someone with arthritis, I was really hopeful that these would help me revive my love for crochet, which I’ve had to give up due to the pain in my hands. When they arrived, I was initially impressed by how pretty they are. However, they’re essentially just regular hooks with a decorative sleeve at the base, which is thicker than the normal hook side, but there are no indentations or design features to help you hold the hook better and reduce pain or fatigue. If you’re looking for a beautiful, good-quality set of crochet hooks, these might be a great choice, especially considering the price. But if you need truly ergonomic tools to support arthritic or painful hands, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Regrettably, I’ll have to return these, as they don’t meet my needs.

Gekocht voor entrelac haken omdat de lengte van de haaknaald langer is met een korter handvat. Precies zoals ik dacht en haakt geweldig als er wat meer steken op de naald moeten blijven staan.

They are very nice. Pretty colors, they are true to size, and comfortable to hold while working on a project. I think the quality is great for the price. Edit January 5th 2025: these hooks are still great, I've tried all of them now and each hook is smooth and strong. My tension is very tight and I hold the hooks really tightly as well, sometimes I'm surprised that I haven't snapped the smaller ones, but they've held up through a lot, and besides my Tulip Etimo Reds and Roses, these are my favorite hooks, especially the 7 and 8 I use with my chunky yarn to make bigger plushies.
