Feels higher quality than the price would allow. Works well. The main complaint I saw in the reviews was the battery compartment cap is used to turn the device on/off. I can appreciate this simplicity and its contribution to the lower than expected price point. While the battery removal could be refined with more resistance than it has to make this less likely to come apart when I’m trying to turn it off, I don’t expect this to result in the battery coming out accidentally, ever. More likely that I overshoot the off position once in awhile and move the “switch” back to the off position before putting the device away. I used the long swordfish-like attachment to trim nose hairs and it worked like a charm. With just two or three times around each nostril it got ALL the visible nose hairs cut to barely taller than skin height. No hair-pulling discomfort at all. The attachment did get quite warm to the touch during this operation. Best feature is opening up the space between blades on that swordfish attachment by pressing on the lever with the water drop shape and cleaning hairs and gunk out under the faucet. Trimmed my sideburns with that same blade with the two sided comb that came installed on the swordfish. Worked well going over them from multiple directions to get all the hairs. Good sideburn height. Attachments mount and dismount with a solid click using an appropriate amount of force. I expect this will serve me well for years to come.

Simple and effective. The battery clip keeps breaking after a year though (plastic), sucks to have to keep replacing it for that.

Great for "basic" fine tuning, beard, brows, nose and general face grooming. NOT great for heavy use/grooming. For my needs it's perfect. Yes battery powered but I knew that when purchasing, hence no issues with international air travel. Perfect lil groomer for cleaning up your face. Happy with the performance and happy with my purchase.

The design isn't the best, as the on/off switch is Incorporated in with the cap that holds the battery into the unit. It's also supposed to do several things like nose hair trimming, etc., but that requires a change of cutting heads. That process is kind of janky and the heads don't stay on well. I wish someone would just make a small trimmer that's well designed and does just the one thing well instead of trying to be all things to all people.

... but I think the battery compartment could have been solved a bit better .. although I really like this trimmer (and the accessories) I dislike the battery compartment .. when I turn the trimmer off, I often accidentally eject the batterie ... this could have been solved better.

I got this to detail my sons eyesbrows because they started growing in unibrows and i dont want them teased at school. I let my son do it himself because I figured, hes a teenager, hes old enough and responsible enough that he should be able to handle this, right? Within less than 30 seconds, he had shaved off half his left eyebrow and looked like a deraged vulcan. It was so clean shaven, like there was never any eyebrow there to brgin with, and he didnt even cut himself doing it. 11/10. (He wore a bandaid over his eyebrow for two weeks after and told his classmates he got scratched by the cat)
