Review: bunny book - product is what I ask Review: I LOVE this little book! I own the paperback version (that I read to my kids), and plan to buy all the board book versions for every grandchild as they are born lol. This is the cutest little story with fun pictures. The mother bunny is putting all her bunnies to bed - and they sleep in various places in the home (a shoe!), on the lawn, the roof, etc. The bunnies' names are alphabetical and rhyme with their sleeping location or something they sleep with... Each one starts with a number, making this a book that teaches the alphabet, numbers, and rhyming in the most delightful way. For example, "6 was named Frankie. She slept on a hankie. 7 was named Gretel. She slept in a kettle. 8 was named Hank. He slept with his bank." And on it goes. In the end, Mother Rabbit has tucked them all in and is going to bed herself, and when you turn the page, all the bunnies have converged on Mother Rabbit's room, haha! The illustrations are adorable. This is a quality, sturdy, well-printed book as well.

Ahh this book is so stinking cute! It is an adorable bedtime book about a mother rabbit putting to bed her babies A to Z (Abel to Zed. The book counts along through the alphabet as she puts each bunny to bed in a space rhyming with their name. SO SO cute! And you won’t believe where all the bunnies end up in the end! A must for Children book library!!!!

Beautifully illustrated book, with a quirky little story about how a mama rabbit puts all her children (one child for each letter of the alphabet) to bed. Really cute for little ones and beautiful to look at.

This is one of my very favorite children's books. We discovered it 25 years ago with my first born and have now just purchased it to give as a gift to another newborn. It tells the story of mother rabbit and her 26 children. They are named beginning with each letter of the alphabet and are put to sleep in places rhyming with their name. The book therefore reinforces counting and the alphabet while telling a fun story.
