Size - 4 mm x 5 mm Two Carbon Brushes for Bernina 730- 830 Sewing Machines. These brushes will fit Bernina 730-830 and their sub models: 730, 801S, 802S, 803S, 808, 809, 811, 817, 819, 830, 801, 810, 807, 808, 809, 811, 819, 830, 831, 832, 840 & 850. size 4 x 5 mm Some Old style Bernina Machines take brushes 5 mm x 6 mm, if this is the case please refer to New Style Bernina Brushes. Review: fits 1974 Bernina 830 record - Brushes fit the original equipment motor. However, the springs are slightly larger than OEM, so some finagling is required to compress the spring into the hole and push the threaded cap down onto the spring. OEM spring rested inside the brush cups, while these springs, being slightly larger, sit on the facing edge. It'll work, just a little patience. Owner reports "the machine runs like new". Review: Size is inaccurate too small - So I have a vintage Bernina record 830 and I measured what tiny bit is left of my existing brushes as 4x5 mm . The ones I was sent indicate they are 4x5 but in fact I measured them as 4x3 mm . See pics!!! The new ones have no springs attached I will look elsewhere for a quality brush
