Honolulu Jewelry Company 14K Real Solid Yellow Gold 0.5mm or 1mm Box Chain Necklace, 16"-24"

I cannot say enough good things about this product AND Honolulu Jewelry Company!!!! I have worn a locket since I was given it as a baby, and literally never ever ever take it off (only for spray tans). I bought this to replace the chain after mine broke. Firstly, this chain is beautiful; the gold retains its shine and the box chain is teeny teeny tiny and delicate. I'm writing this review almost exactly 11 months after purchasing (let me just repeat that I literally never take this off) AND IT IS STILL BEAUTIFUL!!! There is no rust or wear, the gold is still beautifully shiny and there is no sign of wear and tear. I cannot recommend this more highly! The seller also has amazing customer service--I originally ordered one that arrived broken due to no fault of the seller (the shipping package looked like it had been deliberately opened and stepped on when it arrived), and when I called, I spoke to a real human who immediately shipped me a replacement at no cost; all I had to do was mail them the broken one. This is real quality for an amazing price, and you can feel good supporting a good company (a rare thing on Amazon)

Great looking gold jewelry.

Just recieved my 10mm 14k Solid gold necklace. So far so good!! Beautiful shiny and expensive looking!! Great value for the price! I espically love the lobster clasp and how the ends are not circle type fittings on the end but much more sturdier flat type connectors. I feel these are less likely to just bend or break off like the regular cheap circle kinds often do. I bought this to put my late mother’s 3 Carat flawless pendant on and needed something very sturdy and strong yet not too large that it would overwhelm the diamond and 18k gold pendant. VERY PLEASED WITH MY PURCHAGE!! EXCELLENT QUALITY!!

I am really surprised that no one has said this from what I saw in research before purchasing. This necklace is incredibly hard to put on. The ends are tiny and it is extremely hard to open. A pieced of the clasp has already come off of it somehow. I decided it just doesn't make sense to take off. Other than that it is a fine necklace. I spent $4 on 2 year insurance only to find in the box that the chain is guarantee, I believe for life. I recommend not purchasing the additional insurance. Over all very nice, dainty, delicate and worth the money. I have been wearing it for about 1 month with no issues other than the difficulty taking it on and off and the small piece that has somehow come off from the clasp. I won't return it unless something else comes off.

I never take this necklace off unless it’s for a medical procedure, which means I wear it in the shower and the swimming pool. This necklace is just as strong and lustrous as the first time I opened the box. I have accidentally tugged on this thing as I reposition my shirt collar and the clasp is firm. I have gotten many compliments on this necklace. I immediately let them know where I got it and how low the price for 14 carat gold. If I ever need a gift or another necklace for myself it will be this necklace. Have a Wonderful Day!!!!

Beautiful, seemingly good quality chain; however, the clasp and loop at the other end are so small, there is NO way one can grab it to get it clasped or unclasped if you are lucky enough to get it on. Lovely gold, however, it has now taken me 15 minutes just to try to grab and open the pull-back clasp to get it on. Very frustrating, and I spent all this money on something I can't even wear.

I already own several 14 kt 16" box chain necklaces that are .50 mm, and this one does not even come close. I do not know what kind of tools they use to measure with, but this necklace is barely 16 inches long, and only if you include the clasp in your measurement, and it is not .50 mm. The clasp is not gold, it isn't even silver plated gold. It is a base metal plated in gold. I know this because it attaches itself to a magnet when I passed it over its entire length. Cheap, cheap, really cheap. Do not waste your time and money unless this same necklace is advertised for about 20 bucks. I also own a triple beam scale and it failed to register any weight on my scale. Do not bother with this.
