I love coffee again!
I love this machine. I have been wanting a Nespresso for a while now but I tend to be cheap when it comes to “gifts” for me. Got a $250 gift card for something at work and I decided to be a little frivolous! Why did I wait so long? The machine is small which is a big plus. The espresso is the real deal. Like you get in places where it is their equivalent to our morning coffee. Love the frother. Does an amazing job. Honestly though the most important factor and what I would term the deal breaker was how easy it is to clean. It is quite easy! It comes apart into all of its constituent parts, rinse with cold water and lay it on a towel to dry. All ready for the next morning! Simple! I don’t have a bad word to say about it. It is pricey for a “coffee maker” but it’s much more than that and worth every penny!

Great product - terrible customer service
Ordered 2 machines and delivery was quick. Unboxed and tried per instructions for the “best froth” use skim milk. This worked a couple of times and the machine stopped frothing. Read, Researched and then called customer svce. Big mistake. She kept asking if we have an account. I advised we just received it. She said to set up account So we did. Waste of time and I spent the next 40 minutes w her trouble shooting only to have her tell me I’m using the wrong milk and I can only use whole milk? She said “our site states this”? Bye the way it doesn’t. I searched and also advised her page 17 specifically states “for the best froth use skim milk”. She said “well that’s wrong”? Anyway. This went on for 40 min until I hung up frustrated. After researching more my wife (yes she’s smarter than me) found more info on line about the same issue. The froth stops working if not using whole milk. Update - we did try the whole milk and it works. Love the machine. Great coffee but if you want to use anything other than whole milk it’s not for you. We tried 2% and skim as well. Only whole milk works. **don’t waste time w customer service unless your very patient and have a lot of time to waste talking..well listening to someone tell you in the end to just return it to Amazon your within 30 days….

Milk frother failed and poor customer service
We purchased this machine about 7 months ago and the milk frother no longer works, the button just blinks repeatedly until it shuts off. I called Nespresso customer service and after an hour and a half video chat and troubleshooting the machine, they said they would send a new milk jug and if that didn't work, they'd repair the machine. The new milk jug did not solve the problem, so I called back and did another video chat to confirm that it wasn't working. The customer service agent hung up on me. When I got back in touch with a new customer service agent, they agreed to send me a repair box but it was never confirmed. The machine works fine for espresso, but if you want to make lattes I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Very disappointing and will not be purchasing from Nespresso again.

A Must Have For Any Kitchen!!!
Review of the Nespresso Lattissima One Original Espresso Machine with Milk Frother by De'Longhi - Shadow Black I recently had the pleasure of using the Nespresso Lattissima One Original Espresso Machine by De'Longhi in the sleek Shadow Black finish, and I must say, it has been a delightful addition to my kitchen. This machine is designed for coffee enthusiasts who appreciate the art of espresso and the luxury of perfectly frothed milk, and it certainly delivers on both fronts. Design and Build Quality: The Shadow Black color gives the machine a modern and sophisticated look, making it a stylish addition to any countertop. The compact design is a significant advantage, especially for those with limited kitchen space. The build quality feels robust, and the materials used are high-grade, ensuring durability. The intuitive layout of buttons is user-friendly, allowing even the most novice coffee maker to operate it with ease. Ease of Use: One of the standout features of the Lattissima One is its simplicity. With just a single touch, you can prepare a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, and latte macchiato. The integrated milk frother is a game changer; it produces creamy, frothy milk in seconds. The machine also has a removable milk container, making it easy to store leftover milk in the refrigerator. Coffee Quality: When it comes to coffee quality, the Lattissima One does not disappoint. The espresso extracted is rich, flavorful, and aromatic, with a beautiful crema on top. The machine uses Nespresso's Original line of coffee capsules, which offers a wide range of flavors and intensities. I appreciate the consistent quality, ensuring every cup is as good as the last. Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning the Lattissima One is relatively straightforward. The milk frother and water tank are detachable, allowing for easy rinsing and maintenance. The automatic cleaning function for the milk frother is particularly convenient, ensuring hygiene without requiring much effort. Final Thoughts: Overall, the Nespresso Lattissima One Original Espresso Machine with Milk Frother by De'Longhi in Shadow Black is an excellent investment for anyone looking to enjoy café-quality coffee at home. Its combination of design, ease of use, and coffee quality makes it stand out in a crowded market. While the cost of Nespresso capsules can add up over time, the convenience and quality of the drinks produced make it well worth it for a daily indulgence. Highly recommended for coffee lovers who want a reliable and stylish machine!

Espresso experience without the fuss
We fell in love with the Nespresso coffee system featured in several of our hotel rooms while traveling in Italy and France. This machine helps bring a taste of Europe to our home every day, so easy to use and make a cappuccino or latte to start the day. If you’re an espresso perfectionist then this machine may not be for you. But if you’re like many of us who want the espresso experience including steamed milk froth without the fuss, mess and expense and big countertop footprint of a professional espresso machine, then you’ll appreciate this machine. You control the amount of steamed milk by varying the amount of milk you pour into the milk receptacle, you must refill it after each cup you make. I suggest experimenting with the type of milk you use. Nonfat, 1%, 2%, whole milk, each produces a different texture of foam and creaminess depending on your preference. We find 2% to be our favorite. We have experimented with almond milk and oat milk but nothing froths like real milk. Like most coffee and espresso machines, this one needs to be descaled periodically depending on the hardness of water that you use. It has a helpful feature to alert you when the time for descaling is approaching and when it reaches a certain point it will automatically block usage until you perform descaling.

Good Enough Taste, but Super Convenient
The first time I had coffee from a pod was Keurig about 10 years ago, and I hated the taste and texture of it. It made such a bad impression that I never tried Nespresso until recently. I was happy with all automatic machines like Saeco, Gaggia, and Jura at work. I actually was thinking about getting a mini Jura A1 until I had this tiny Nespresso machine in my room at my recent hotel stay. While the flavor and texture was not good as Gaggia or Jura, the tiny size and convenience were amazing. The texture was also very good for the size. The fact that you could change the flavor and variety just by changing the pod was just added bonus. That’s why I decided to get that machine for home, but they were out of ESSENZA MINI in white color, and Amazon had this new Lattissima model with frother, and having cappuccino occasionally sounded intriguing. Overall, it’s a good machine that does not take much of my counter space, and the white color makes it look clean and less intimidating. It’s a tad more expensive than I wanted to spend, but I don’t regret getting it. Thanks for reading and YMMV.

Delivered a defective unit
I've wanted to upgrade my Nespresso machine for a while but was holding off as the machine I had worked fine. It recently stopped working so I decided to upgrade to the Lattissima One. Once it arrived, it was fairly simple to set up and get started. I was able to brew pods without an issue. I had issues when trying to use the milk feature. The machine would blink as if it was preparing the milk, but there was no evidence of the machine actually warming up or doing anything. After a few moments, all the lights would blink and the machine would power off. Needless to say, the machine was able to brew coffee just fine, however, when it came to the milk features (the main purpose of the machine) I can't say the same. I did some research online and called Nespresso and I was on the phone for an hour. They offered basic troubleshooting but not anything I didn't already try on my own. Overall they deemed the machine defective and advised I return it to Amazon. I was pretty disappointed as it was faulty out of the box. I bought the same unit from Best Buy and so far it's working perfectly fine! I'm inclined to believe the one I was sent from Amazon was returned by someone else as the water test strip was missing and the milk pieces had some sort of coating on them (both of these things were not an issue with the second unit I purchased).
