My dentist approves!
I didn’t used to floss regularly. I liked the idea of these individual-style flossers, but didn’t like the idea of so much plastic waste, but then my partner found these. They’re great! I keep them in the car and use them while waiting at stoplights or in traffic. I love that they’re black, as they aren’t so easy to spot in my car’s black interior. They do tend to eventually break, but by that time I figure it was probably time for a replacement anyway. On my last dentist visit I was told that whatever I was doing I should keep doing it because everything looked great!

Quality Over Quantity – The Best Flosser for Oral Health & the Planet
If you prioritize quality over quantity, care about the environment, and value solid oral health, this is the product for you. I floss twice a day every day and regularly use dental tools to prevent plaque buildup—so if you don’t have these habits or have teeth crowding, I can’t speak to how these will work for you. I’ve seen some reviews claiming these picks are flimsy or break easily (either the pick itself or the floss), but I can confidently say that hasn’t been my experience. I’m not sure how aggressively people are using them, but I’ve found them to be durable and effective. In fact, I can get 2-3 uses out of each one, which has never been the case with plastic flossers. While these may cost a bit more than the plastic alternatives, the combination of sustainability and high quality makes them well worth it. Choosing these flossers means reducing plastic waste without sacrificing performance. I love this brand and hope to see them expand to local stores in the future. Thanks for providing such a great option for both oral health and the environment!

Great Product!
My wife and I have ordered this product multiple time. We have never had an issue with the floss breaking and it easily slides between our teeth. My wife says they are mint flavor but the flavor is so faint that I didn't notice it. The product comes in a simple box and we just cut the lid off with scissors and leave them in our drawer. Solid simple product for a great price! Well worth the buy.

Going back to regular floss that comes in a cardboard dispenser
If you like floss pics, these seem fine for what they are. The floss is strong and solid. The curve in the pointed handle makes it nice for using as a toothpick. However, I got them hoping they'd be easier for my elderly dad, but they haven't been easier at all for me, so I haven't even tried with him. The environmental benefits leave a lot to be desired. Finally, to cover all the surfaces between my teeth takes four passes instead of two, so twice as much work. (Read on for more details.) Reasons why I'll go back to floss after I finish up with the floss pics. 1) It takes more effort to cover all the spaces between the teeth -- four swipes up and down instead of two. Using string floss, I need two actions: I wrap around the curve of the back tooth with an up and down swipe and then around the curve of the front tooth with an up and down swipe, then on to the next space between my teeth. Since pic floss doesn't curve, I have to go down the back tooth angled toward my cheek side, then again angled toward my tongue side, and then twice more on the side of the front tooth - cheek side then tongue side. 2) Learning to use the pics was challenging and time consuming. I finally realized that I need to put my fingers on the plastic part right over the floss. When I held the pic by the extended handle, it was really hard to get these to go between my teeth. Getting the floss out from between my teeth requires a sawing action and just the right angle. Initially, the floss would get stuck even though I was pulling up hard. I feared I would dislodge one of my crowns. I don't have that problem now, but it was scary until I figured out a better way to use these. I couldn't see my elderly dad getting use to these, so it defeated the purpose of buying them. 3) Environmentally, I think string floss in a cardboard dispenser makes much more sense. The PLA plastic in these pics is definitely preferably to petroleum sourced plastic, however PLA takes 80 years to break down in nature and "compostable" refers to industrial composting at high temperatures. PLA won't compost under normal back yard composting conditions.

Big quality dip
Really liked this product the first couple times I bought it. The most recent iteration is somewhere between embarrassing and garbo. The new formulation is REALLY bad. Like the stiff parts shattering in your teeth or hand a couple times a week. Last week I was gently picking my teeth and the toothpick part shattered. I had to VERY CAREFULLY get another flosser and work the sharp solids put from between my teeth. That was the worst, and comparatively, having flossers shatter in my hand while the flosser is in my gums is tame. Also, the new packaging is terrible. Please revert to the original product and packaging. If my next order is as trash as this one, I'll throw them out and get some that work and are less likely to shatter in my mouth.

Perfect flossing pick
I had to move to floss picks because my teeth are closely spaced and I wasn't successful with regular floss. I also hate to throw away items so was looking for something that is environment-friendly. This is my second order for these floss picks. They allow me to floss easily and I can put them in my compost bucket. A win-win!

Easily broken
The first time I got these, I was really impressed. They did a great job and I loved that they’re biodegradable. The subsequent shipments have NOT been the same. The picks break easily and sometimes the string part breaks too. It’s very disappointing.

I had kept away from dental harps because of the plastic, so these are great because you can recycle them. Much easier to use than floss and the hook end is helpful too. Great option for flossing and as I am teaching my son to floss easier for him to use rather than strong floss.

I love this product. I have purchased this a second time. It is not as sturdy as other options available, but sturdy enough to use (non-compostable options). I love that it is a compostable option and makes me feel better about my impact on waste. I personally prefer these to using the traditional dental floss.

It’s a great idea to have flosses that are environmental friendly. They are strong, I have just finished a box of them and I had absolutely no problem.

They feel a bit thin, but my hygienist assured me it’s nothing to worry about—so who am I to argue, right? I’ve already finished one box, and none of them have broken, so the quality is great. I also love that they’re biodegradable, which was a major factor in my decision to buy them since I try to avoid creating unnecessary waste.
