Funny
My 10 year old son loves this book so very much. He asks he to read it to him regularly. I wasn't familiar with the author, however I love all books recommended by read a loud revival with Sarah Mackenzie. The art work is fun and wispy and the grandmother is kind and wise. I would recommend it to anyone who have children that quibble.

Good
There is too much of ego given in this book teaching others the same. Can get better ... otherwise it is fine

Voice loud and clear
This is a delightful book about a sister telling about how annoying her brother is.The reader can really 'feel' the character and voice of the sister throughout the book. The brother repeats a phrase that makes his personality jump right off the page! There is a surprising pivotal point in the story where the sister comes to appreciate her sibling. The pictures not only illustrate the text, but also show things going on in addition to what is written. This is a perfect book for enjoyment for 2nd and 3rd graders. An excellent mentor text for grades 3 - 5,in that Patricia Polacco does some very interesting things within the text such as illustration of a complaintby the sister by using a conversation between herself and her brother. This is a book not to be missed!

great for siblings
A great book that shows kids that sometimes those we cannot stand help us in the end. Good for siblings who fight a lot.
