Van Heusen Men's Tall Wrinkle Free Poplin Long Sleeve Shirt

I have a 46" chest and a slim build otherwise. This shirt was long enough in the body and fit in the shoulders and sleeves. The body of the shirt wasn't terrible for my size, but it is hard to get a shirt off the shelf that fits me around my chest and waist( 35") anyway. It will run too big for those that are smaller/thinner than me. I'm not sure it is actually a 17" neck, maybe more like 17 to17 1/4 or 1/2, but it works for me. It won't be permanent press and if it was it would be too heavy and hot.The other reviews helped me pick this one.I would get another one...

This is my first shirt from Van Heusen and the tall is too long for me, its not just a couple of inches but a few, but since I'll have to tuck it, it doesn't expose any skin even when I bend down. The measurements on Amazon was a bit hard to decipher and I just got one that fit closest to my measure and the sleeves are a little bit long but not long enough to be a hassle. The shirt feels great and doesn't feel heavy.

Great shirt. Sized exactly as it says. Wrinkle free is amazing. But a bit shinier than I expected. Not necessarily a bad thing, I just don't usually buy shiny shirts, so something that was supposed go into my wardrobe rotation seamlessly actually drew a lot of comments, and jovial ire. So, I couldn't give it the love, I had to give the like. Just so you know, there is a slight shininess which you can't pick up from the picture. But again, great shirt, beautifully tailored.

I should start out by saying I paid in the neighborhood of $20 for these shirts. Any more than that would not be worth it in my opinion. They are great, inexpensive shirts. The only reasons they lose a star are for collar stays built into the collar, and you can see my undershirt through them. They are not quite as bad as some of the single ply toilet paper shirts I have had in the past (probably more like 1.5 ply).

I finally learned a secret about ordering my shirts after years of having them ride up my back and have the sleeves ride up my arms....special order these tall versions and you will be much more satisfied with its wear. With these shirts both problems are solved since the shirt tail is longer and I can order a 35/36 instead of having to live with the 34/45.PS The Jockey tall t-shirts pairs great with this or any dress shirt as it too has a longer tail to prevent the ride up. Also there are extra long neck ties that wear better than the standard versions.

Never did get it. I'm sure it was delivered to my friend's home in Florida but it was to be delivered on Good Friday. We left the following day, Saturday, for Canada and it was still not there. Probably still on the front porch.I just wish if the delivery date is specified that it would be delivered on or before that date.Here's the message that I received on April 4th, 2014.Your estimated delivery date is:Friday, April 18, 2014I've ordered these shirts before. They are excellent quality and fit exactly as stated; price-point is very good too.Just wish delivery was faster.

This is a classic Van Heusen dress shirt. Looks and feels fantastic. It's very well made. I am not easy to fit, being 17 1/2 x 37 size, so if the manufacturer skimps on sleeve length, I know it. All of the seams are perfect, the collar is just right. It also has a standard breast pocket and many new shirts (is it Euro styling--or just a way to cut costs?) don't have the pocket. I prefer a pocket for a cell phone, or maybe a pen or glasses sometimes. This shirt was a gift and I am glad I got TWO of them.

My boyfriend is tall but not fat. He has a hard time finding shirts to fit. We went to macys and he was measured but they didn't have anything that fit that he liked. He is a 17 neck 38-39 we went to every store in the mall and couldn't find a shirt that size. I ordered one off amazon and it fit great.
