I am a new scotch drinker; moving on from tequila, and was looking for something to cool my new drink and would not water it down. I looked all over Amazon for something to fit the bill. There were tons of vendors selling all kinds of solutions. The whiskey bullets looked like they could be swallowed and knowing my luck I would do that so I needed something a little bigger. These rocks were perfect! I ordered the rocks and two double walled glasses as recommended by Amazon. They came tightly wrapped and in perfect condition. As I unpacked everything, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by an aroma one would expect to find in a gentleman's library filled with leather bound books, high back chairs, and walnut walls. This was from the wood casing that held the rocks in place. Now onto the good stuff. The rocks were beautiful. Their rich color was inviting, their surface smooth, and their weight was appropriate. I washed each rock, dried them off and placed them into the freezer. Later that night, I put one in a glass, poured a little goodness over them, and sat in my chair by the fire to read Moby Dick (I'm kidding!). Much to my surprise, the one rock did not cool my drink as expected. I figured if one was good more must be better. The next night, I poured the golden elixir over three rocks and that did the trick! My drink was as cool as the wind blowing over the ski slope in Vail. AND.... I didn't swallow them. Yes, they are of substantial size so no worries there. So, enjoy your drink and look really sophisticated doing it!
