Excellent product. Super easy to use — just spray and rinse, and the water beads instantly. Leaves a nice gloss and works great on paint, wheels, and glass. A little goes a long way, and the quality is top-notch.

A friend who does professional detailing turned me onto Gyeon products after I asked for input on car washing. The soap, the foam, and then also Wet Coat. It's not cheap, but looks like it got good reviews and was willing to try it. Car isn't ceramic coated, or even waxed in many years. So, washed it with my pressure washer and soaps (Foam for cannon, and Bathe for mitt). Then went through the process of Wet Coating (just spray on when panel is wet, then rinse off). I use way more than videos show (I think they show three sprays per panel, but I try to get even coverage). Then rinse off. Drying the car was way different right off the bat. Microfiber Drying towels usually had some drag to them. Also never was able to use the leaf blower method... after wet coat, MUCH less drag from towel. Car dried super fast and easy. Fast forward to today, over a month later. Car still looks freshly washed. Also got hit by some bird poo and a quick spray with the hose washed it right off. Cannot recommend enough. It does a great job, and tbh, I might actually say it's pound for pound better than wax. It won't add a deep gloss to car like wax or some other coatings, but it does give a nice shine, and definitely a slickness and protection. Durability-wise: after a month it still looks and behaves like new. And given how fast it is, I'll happily use it every time I wash. Only annoyance is applying it outside. Any breeze or wind you just watch your money blow away. If you can wash in a bay, definitely recommend. If you can't, try to wash and apply on a windless day. Also might say the 1L bottle is a little big when applying. Next time I buy I might buy a 500ml so I can refill the smaller bottle.

Incredible product!! I was extremely impressed with how well this product works with water heading off immediately after applying it. Super easy to put on, a few sprays per panel, and rinse off thoroughly. My wife’s car isn’t ceramic coated and this added some great protection to her vehicle! Hoping this coating lasts a few months

This stuff is legit. I’ve used a lot of detailing products on my ceramic-coated truck, and GYEON WetCoat is now a permanent part of my setup. It’s incredibly easy — just spray it on a wet panel, rinse off immediately, and boom: instant water beading and sheeting like you’d see in a professional detail. One tip for new users (like I was): less is more. I made the mistake of spraying way too much my first time and ended up using nearly the whole bottle in one wash. You only need 2–3 light sprays per panel — any more and you risk streaking or wasting product. A single bottle should last several washes if used correctly. Works great on paint, wheels, glass, and trim. Restores slickness, revives coating performance, and makes drying a breeze. If you’re looking for a fast and effective ceramic boost, this one delivers.

This stuff is amazing. I wash my car once every 1-1.5 months, and I apply this product on every wash. It produces a nice gloss, water-beading, hydrophobic effect. It serves well as the only protective surface on my car. I find it lasts approx 3 months, though I have indoor parking and it probably won't last as long if I street parked it. Once I managed to get it to last through an entire winter season with one application, though it was basically 80% ineffective by the time spring rolled around. Unfortunately, this spray will stain and streak if applied improperly, and I've learned many ways to use it wrong. Things I've learned: 1. When Gyeon says "don't use on hot panel or direct sunlight" they mean it. If it dries quickly without being rinsed/wiped off, it will stain. Sometimes you HAVE to wash your car in a hot summer day, but if that's the case, try to park under an awning or turn the car to work on the shaded side. Be quick and work on one panel at a time. 2. Be mindful of areas on your car where water can drip and pool. For me, that's the area right behind the trunk and the door jams. If it's not dried off quickly, it will stain. 3. Gyeon recommends you spray on a wet panel and wash it off. This works fine. However, sometimes this will cause overspray to a different part of the car (ie: hood overspray to windshield, or door overspray to plastic trim). This needs to be sprayed off/cleaned quickly or it will stain. I've seen some folks spray this directly on a microfiber cloth and apply it to the panel by hand. Probably safer, but it's more time consuming. 4. Don't use too much. I use maybe 30-40 "pumps" of the spray trigger for the entire body of the car. 5 into the hood. 5 into the roof. 7-8 into the entire left side of the car, then same thing to the right. Then 2 to the trunk, 2 between the taillights. Too much product makes it hard to wash off, which will leave smears. 5. Can use this on glass to get a nice waterbeading Rain-X effect. I did it for a few washes, but then I put a real glass product on and stopped using Wetcoat for this purpose. 6. Can use this in wheel wells. Works great at preventing break dust from sticking to wheels, though it can sometimes be hard to spread product throughout the wheel spokes evenly. Will add more tips if I think of them.

This stuff is the best, if you want a good drying agent I suggest this product. I’m a small mobile detailer and I love this product. Nothing beats how well it last as many washes and the water beading is also amazing!! I wish I could rate 10/10 stars because I would.

Wet Coat worked really well on my neglected paint. It is easy to apply and improved the gloss of the finish and makes water bead really well. I like that you can use it on the entire car. Windows and side mirrors shed water like crazy. I've only had it on for a couple of weeks, so I can't comment on durability. I'm impressed at the performance despite not prepping my paint beforehand.

This product is easy to apply to protect your car. Old school waxing takes too long and can only really be done on painted surfaces. Si02 (Silica spray) can protect all surfaces. The only thing you have to remember is you shouldn't apply the product on a dirty car. You need to decontaminate the surface with a clay bar/clay mitt or polish. You can mist this product on and use water pressure to apply the coating. From there is will bead up and reject water (Hydrophobic). If you don't decontaminate the car, you are applying the product over dirt and grime and protecting that as well. Do not apply product to a hot car. Do not apply product in direct sunlight. Do not let product dry on car.

Ich habe ein paar Videos zum Gyeon WetCoat gesehen und es klappt wirklich so gut, wie es beschrieben wird, man meint erst, als man sich die Produktbeschreibung durchließt, dass es ein Gag sei, aber es wirkt wirklich super! Erster Eindruck: Das Produkt kommt ganz simpel von Amazon im Pappkarton, es ist nur das Produkt in der Flasche mit Sprühkopf enthalten. Die Flasche sieht echt schick aus und es fühlt sich hochwertig an. Auf der Rückseite stehen alle nötigen Informationen zum Produkt. Mit der Sternebewertung, die aufgedruckt ist, kann ich nichts anfangen, weil ich keinen Vergleich zu anderen Gyeon Produkten habe. Es riecht neutral, auch bei der Anwendung kann man nichts riechen, also echt gut. Ich kenne viele Versiegelungen, die echt unangenehm riechen, aber auch welche, die nach etwas duften. Ob man das braucht oder nicht ist natürlich Geschmackssache, mir ist es wurscht, aber stinken sollte es ja nicht. Anwendung: Ich habe den Wagen erst mal ordentlich mit Pril entkonserviert, nur um absolut sicher zu gehen, dass nichts auf dem Lack ist. Da der Wagen vorher schon mit Pril gewaschen worden ist, war keinerlei Beading/Sheeting vorhanden, das Wasser klebte förmlich am Lack und lief nicht ab. Nach der Wäsche habe ich den Wagen mit dem Gartenschlauch abgespritzt und das WetCoat aufgesprüht. Es zerstäubt super, man braucht eigentlich nicht viel, ich habe aber unnötig viel benutzt, da man es noch verteilt, wenn es runter gespritzt wird. Wenn man es aufsprüht, sieht man direkt, wie das Wasser anfängt, abzuperlen. Hat man dann den Wagen anständig eingesprüht, muss man das Produkt nur mit dem Kärcher oder nem Gartenschlauch abspritzen, das wars! den Wagen noch getrocknet und fertig! Verbrauch, Preis-Leistung: Zum Verbrauch kann ich sagen, dass ich ein bisschen mehr als ein Drittel etwa für ein Auto gebraucht habe, liegt aber auch daran, dass ich zu viel benutzt habe und an verschiedenen Flächen vorab mal was getestet habe, ich denke aber das es gut für 3 große Kombis/Vans/SUVs , 4 Kompaktwagen/Limousinen, Cabrios und 5 Kleinwagen knapp reichen wird. Das Produkt wird sehr fein zerstäubt, somit kann man viel Fläche auf einen mal benetzen, was auf jeden Fall reicht, da man es mit dem HDR oder dem Gartenschlauch noch genug verteilt. Für 20 Euro (14 Euro bei direkter Bestellung auf der Waschelden-Website) somit ein echt gutes Produkt, zur benötigten Anwendungshäufigkeit (Haltbarkeit) kann ich aber noch nichts berichten. Beading/Sheeting/Glanz: Zu Erklärung der Begriffe für die, denen es nichts sagt: Beading: ...ist ein Begriff in der Deatailing und Autopflegeszene und die Perlenbildung zu beschreiben. Man möchte meißt schöne runde Perlen, die sich steil auf der Karosserie aufstellen. Einige mögen möglichst kleine Perlen, die schnell abperlen, die anderen auf größere, so kann man das mal ganz grob erklären. wer mehr darüber wissen will ,kann mal die suchfunktion betätigen ;) Sheeting: ...beschreibt dass Ablaufverhalten des Wassers vom Lack. Man möchte ein möglichst schnelles Ablaufverhalten, sodass nahezu kein Wasser mehr auf dem Lack bleibt. Ebenso sollten ablaufende Wassertropfen möglichst "rückstandsfrei" ablaufen. Ich bin kein Vollprofi auf diesem ganzen Detailing Gebiet, also wer wirklich gute Infos will, einfach mal googlen. Zum Beading kann ich sagen, dass es sehr gute, runde, relativ kleine Perlen bildet, bevor es abläuft, so, wie es sein soll. Die Wasserperlen stellen sich wirklich schön steil zur Oberfläche auf. Zum Sheeting kann ich ebenso positiv berichten, dass das Wasser unglaublich schnell abläuft. Man kann fast schon mit einem großen Eimer klarem Wasser das Auto trocknen kann. Nur ganz kleinen Wasserrückstände bleiben übrig, die man dann mit einem Mikrofaser-Trockentuch ( Kent Mikrofaser-Handtuch )abtrocknen kann. Der Glanz ist ebenfalls echt gut, klar, ein echtes, gutes Wachs glänzt noch etwas mehr, aber wenn man ein Shampoo mit Glanzverstärkern benutzt, kommt man auf das gleiche Niveau. Hier empfehlt sich z.B. Das Chemical Guys Wash&Gloss( Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss Autoshampoo mit Glanzverstärkern 473ml ), oder man bearbeitet nach der Wäsche das Auto mit Detailer. Fazit: Das Gyeon WetCoat ist ein (soweit ich weis) einzigartiges Produkt zur einfachen, schnellen und effektiven Versiegelung, welches problemlos mit normalen Versiegelungen in diesem Preisbereich mithalten kann. Der Auftrag ist unglaublich einfach, die Ergebnisse sind wirklich beeindruckend. Zur Standzeit wird noch ein Update kommen, ich muss erst mal testen, wie lange es hält. UPDATE: Zum Selbstreinigungseffekt kann ich nur sagen: SUPER! Das Auto wird kaum dreckig, lediglich auf dem Dach konnte ich beim genaueren betrachten einen leichten Staub/Pollenfilm sehen. Der Wagen muss eigentlich nur noch mit dem Hochdruckreiniger abgesprüht und mit klarem Wasser gewaschen werden, der Rest geht von selber runter, Insekten wie immer leicht mit Insektenentferner einweichen, die gehen mir dem Hochdruckreiniger runter, wie Butter!
