Simply don’t work to repel the birds

Seemed to keep the black birds out away from the pool. The fake owl didnt work at all. These do not keep sparrows away.

Tenía un serio problema de palomas en la cornisa de mi balcón, coloqué solo 1 juego de búhos y fue sorprendente el resultado , las palomas ya no se paran en la cornisa , incluso ni se acercan al balcón. Lo recomiendo por su efectividad con la ventaja de que si se vuelan o se rompen me quedan de repuesto.

My new renovation includes many large windows which reflect the sky. Windows are always a danger to birds, because they think it IS sky and try gong through. Before the windows were installed, swallows and their youngsters used to zoom through the window and out the other on the opposite side of the room. After the windows and the owl reflectors were installed, I saw them pulling up and over the roof rather than crashing. I’m so happy I bought these. I considered window decals, but they only work if you have lots of them with very little space between each, and I didn’t want to obscure my views. I think these cute owls look fab and move well in even the slightest breeze. The shiny movement is great at deterring birds. The hooks and couplings work well, and seem very sturdy. You can add more to have a long string of them hanging down. I had to do this for one window in particular and used three.. My neighbour admired all my shiny owls calling them ‘house jewelry’. I now have one hanging on my inside rear view mirror. I don’t usually like things hanging there, but it doesn’t obscure my view. Now that winter is arriving here in windy Ireland, I’ve left up just a single owl because a string of two or three of them bang against the window. I’ll add them back once spring has started, the wind has died down a bit, and young birds are flying about.

Compré este producto porque la casa en la que están se encuentra vacía desde hace unos meses y los pájaros al no ver movimiento se han adueñado de las plantas del balcón, dañandolas, picando las y arrancandolas. Así que buscando una solución para espantar a los molestos pájaros compre estos reflectantes que garantizaba espantarlos. El resultado está siendo más que satisfactorio. Estos repelentes, a parte de no dañar al animal, los espanta de tres maneras muy ingeniosas, reflectando la luz como un espejo, moviéndose con poco aire y reflejando al pájaro, lo que hace que se vea a sí mismo y confundido se aleje del lugar. Son de plástico, lo cual hace que pese poco y se mueva más haciendo movimientos de rotación, el efecto espejo es muy muy bueno, eso sí, hay que quitarle dos plásticos que lleva pegados para protegerlos dentro de la caja, si no no brillarán cómo deben. Yo los he pegado a unas barritas de madera que tenía por casa y con un gancho en forma de L que viene en la caja consigo que se muevan de manera muy natural. Recomiendo que esa L quede con las puntas lo más arriba posible, para que el reflectante pueda girar con más libertad (Adjunto vídeo para enseñarlo) PD: las trampas que se ven en el video eran de la antigua dueña y ya no se usan, no hay que dañar a los animales :)
