Headsweats Performance Race/Running/Outdoor Sports Hat

Good...The colors stay true for a long time, I use mine every week and they still look great. The material is light and not TOO hot though I sometimes take it off to cool down. Comfy to wear for a long time, I can do a 4 hour hike in these with no problem.Bad...It seems they changed the band. See the picture, the orange one has a real terry band, the blue one only the inside is a thinner terry material. I run with these and sweat (a lot!). The blue one I can't use for running it is worthless for keeping the sweat out of my face. I'm not sure if all of them are like the blue one now, my orange one is older.With the better terry band these are great for me, but the thinner one just doesn't work.

Comfortable, light and functional.But, why do you need to stitch a scratchy label on the inside of the cap in contact with the wearer skin to irritate the wearer head?It has nice and artistic legible branding on the right side outside where anybody can see, but they still managed to put in a useless branding tag label on the inside of the cap, where no one but the wearer can read it to make the wearer spend time to rip the label off without damaging the cap.

I still used my many Nike Dri-Fit running hats that were 12-15 years old when they made them to last with a much higher quality of the ones that are sold today. I tried one of Headsweats hats and love it. It's a bit lighter than the old Nike hats because of the field material and it breathes better than the Nike dri-fit material which is a big plus for the hot weather which I am faced with most of the year. I am not an individual to quickly switch to a new product especially one that I have used and liked for so many years but I after several months of using I have retired the Nike's and made the switch. I also purchased several more colors as has happy with the many choices!

I really want to like these hats. The one thing keeping me from ordering more is the size inconsistencies. I have a navy blue, a yellow, and two light blues. The navy blue fits like a medium, the yellow is extra large, and the light blue is way way too small. Almost like it is sized as a female fit. I’ve read that the purple is female fit as well and the darker colors are sized as male fits. I’ve even weighed them on my kitchen scale to check weight inconsistencies as well and it confirmed my suspicions. The light blue is several grams lighter than the others as less material was used.I called the number on the hat and had another light blue sent out as they had claimed that the hat must have just been mistakenly sized too small in production. They sent me another light blue. Once again the hat was way too small and the same size as the first light blue. This tells me that it wasn’t just a mistake at production but they actually size the colors differently. I’ve heard rumors that the purple is also sized as a “small”.Seriously, buyer be warned here. The sizing will be inconsistent.

I LOVE THIS HAT! It is my favorite to run in, due to it's light weight construction and the built in sweat band. I run in New Mexico and this time of the year is hot. I have never considered my head small, after reading the many reviews that talk about how small the women's colors run, I knew I needed to speak up. In the purple, (can't speak for the other women's colors, but they should be the same) as long as your head/hair measure about 22.5" or less, this hat will fit. My head is average in size but even with adding in my big and curly hair this hat fits great. Maybe some of the other women writing reviews aren't accustomed to the close fit and smaller dome on a running cap. They need to be lower profile and somewhat tight to stay on during activities, (and wind)! If you run, please try this hat. It is my all time favorite!

I love this hat! I lead an extremely active lifestyle. I run marathons, camp, hike, mountain bike, trail run, you name it! I wear this hat roughly 85% of the time I'm doing outdoor activities and it hasn't let me down.Pros: Extremely lightweight, and the lining feels like a towel and is super absorbant. Provides great shade and cover from the elements. Machine washable, comfortable, stays on the head very well.Cons: None.

Was hesitant about buying a dark color for outdoor summer tennis but, surprisingly, the material quality is so marvelous it could be comfortable in any color. The breath ability and moisture wicking is the selling point. It has a built-in sweatband, thin top layer and very light weight fabric. Every family member, including the children (9&12) have one and those with less hair enjoy the protection it provides. It’s not considered stylish but is a lifesaver in heat and humidity.

I have several of these Headsweats caps in different colors, and they're great, exactly what you need for protection in the sun. The bill keeps the sun off your face, and the material breathes, so you don't sweat more than you should and the sweat doesn't stay trapped under your cap.The shape actually fits your head, unlike so many baseball caps that look all strange and lumpy. I like to stick my ponytail out the back. Really, as caps go, this one is perfect. The price is also good. I've bought several, and this will continue to be my brand of choice for caps.

Great lightweight hat for hairy sweaty man-heads (and women, if the size guide is to be believed). I have a large noggin and a scruffy head of hair, but it fits me fine, unlike my last beanie hat which the cat pissed on and I had to chuck in the washing machine. Don't machine wash lambs wool y'all, hat shrunk, head sore, cat sleeps outside now.

Love wearing headsweats when running - so comfortable not even aware I have it on. Adjusts to fit - washes well - recommend.

I was looking for a lightweight Baseball cap that can be washed. I found one, not too expensive as it's going to be used for work. Good quality nice feel.

Bought 3 of these hats (different colours). Ideal for the Summer (!!!). Can be washed - so a bonus. Would highly recommend

Fits well, stays put, good sized peak to keep out sun (or rain!). Very happy with the purchase.

This hat is pretty nice. The construction is good, the materials are nice, and the color is bold.One problem I found is that it doesn't fit much larger than a 7 1/2 hat size (I'm a 7 5/8 and it's very tight, and I maxed out the adjustment strap)The adjustment strap is webbing, and has no stretch to it, so that can make it a bit uncomfortable.The hat itself is breathable, and the inner band is a nice grey terry cloth material, which wicks sweat. It does an okay job at holding sweat, but not great. Overall its a nice hat for running, it stands out, its breathable enough, and the brim is a good size and holds its shape well.

Musste nach ein paar Tagen eine zweite Kaufen weil die Meine durch meine erwachsene Tochter, die auch gern Outdoorsport macht, andauernd ausgeborgt wird.Schützt vor Sonnenstich, ist angenehm zu tragen ohne zu kratzen oder zu jucken (wie so mancher Sonnenhut);verlängert die Wohlfühlzeit bei Arbeit oder Sport im Freien bei Sonne und ärgster Hitze deutlich.

well madelove the sweat band on the inside that helps wick the sweat away from the forehead,very light fabric, it protects well from the sun without making you hot.Bought one then four other colors as I loved it.I rinse it after unning and so far so good!

Stitching seam that holds the visor to the cap came appart after only 1 month of casual wear (I wore it about 5-7 times).They would not replace it so my wife stitched it back together again, well see how long it holds up.

Eine wirklich tolle Mütze. Zum Sport machen (in diesem Fall Joggen) wirklich perfekt geeignet. Die Belüftung des Kopfes ist deutlich spürbar und sehr angenehm. So ist man gleichzeitig von der Sonne und möglichem Regen geschützt, schwitzt aber nicht übermäßig unter der Mütze. Kaufe ich bestimmt wieder.

Die Kappe ist waschbar und bleibt trotzdem in Form = super und hat ihren Zweck mehr als erfüllt als perfekten Lichtschutz beim Wandern und Klettern in den Bergen, auch am Meer zum Lesen gibt sie den perfekten Lichtschutz, alles erfüllt!!!

Found it to be too large , hits my ears with air space to spare in top , would work if I had a huge afro . Shrunk it somewhat with hot water and hot dryer setting , but would be much better if offered in two sizes .
