RAMPAGE PRODUCTS Rampage TrailView Fastback Soft Top | Sail Cloth, Black Diamond Color | 139835 | Fits 2007 - 2018 Jeep Wrangler JKU 4-Door

As soon as Summer started, I knew it was time to look into soft tops for my 2016 Wrangler Unlimited (JKU). I shopped around a bit, but before I pulled the trigger on the popular Bestop TrekTop NX, I came across this Rampage Products Trailview Soft Top. What really caught my attention was how the front top folds back to give you that open air experience... it just looked cool and I was immediately sold!! I decided to try it out and, to be completely honest, I'm very glad I did!! Amazon had it cheaper than anywhere else ($855 + most places), and I received it in just a couple of days! Quadratec also sells their own "Quadratop Adventure Top S" version of this top, but they were on backorder. Also, I believe the material is heavier on the Rampage Products version (30oz vs. 24oz), just something to keep in mind I guess. Now, here's what you need to know: The top comes in a huge 58"x24" box that weighed 72lbs with all the parts included. The installation took me about 4-5 hours (including the struggle to remove the hard top with my not-so-strong wife - LOL). The length of time was primarily because I literally had to put ALL the pieces together and some of the images/instructions weren't as clear. There's an online video you can follow; not so detailed, but it helped me out a ton. My main issue was with all the pieces, small parts, brackets, and how some things were not labeled, etc. You have to assemble everything first before you can even mount it to the Jeep and you still had other pieces to put together. However, once you complete one side, it becomes a breeze. I wish the kit came with the door surrounds already mounted together as single pieces. Also, better instructions on how to attach the side windows to the rear body of the Jeep and small things like that to make life easier, but nothing that made it overly complicated. The top is made of extremely high-quality material and feels nice; it's very sturdy and pretty quiet inside. All and all, I'm very satisfied and happy with this top and would recommend it to anyone. Price is good and it has cool features like the overhead pockets and storage for the windows. You'll be VERY happy with this top! This is an honest feedback from a JK owner, no one paid or asked me to write this!

The writen instructions are not good or even bad! Biggest help and usefull is the video to watch. One plastic part broke while installing and was replaced quickly and uncomplicated by the company. All parts fit how they should. The material makes a good solid impression. So far the little rain we had stayed outside and kept the car dry. All the zippers work great and hold well. This is a cool looking and solid softtop! Great

The reviews on this top were mixed but I gave it a shot. Have had it a few weeks. The instructions are near worthless but I found youtube videos on how to install. It looks good and doesn't leak. I have some puddling on the top but it was cold when installed so when it warms up and stretches I think that will resolve by adjusting the straps. So easy to flip back.

Instructions aren't super clear at times ... pictures are black and white and often with little contrast. So it took more time than I would have liked to figured out how to assemble in some places. Very tight fit initially around the fastback. But it performs exactly as advertised. Easy open top is a great way to get an instant convertible feeling without having to literally take off an entire soft top. Really enjoy it!

You get what you pay for. I previously had a Bestop soft too. I needed to replace it due to some trail damage (my fault). Decided to go with the Ramapage top to save some money. In the end, I wish I had spent the extra money to get the Bestop. Assembly of this top is much more difficult. It had me cursing a few times. Even watching several YouTube videos didn't help much as they all seemed to be slightly different. Quality is not as good as the Bestop either...both the top fabric and the door surrounds. One of the C shaped pieces that goes around the roll bar was bent and made for an extremely difficult install. I normally drive without the back windows in. The Bestop had a bar across the roll bar to keep the back of the top tight when the windows were removed. This top has nothing. Whenever driving over 55mph, the top will billow up and slam down against the roll bar. All of the straps are very tight but there is nothing to secure the back of the top across the width of the Jeep. Another strap or two (instead of the useless fiberglass rods) along this section would help a lot. I would not buy this again.
