There are a lot of reviews saying that this bottle lid is not tight and the water is leaking .mine is perfect. You just need to tighten the lid properly. I love this bottle. It does not smell after a week of having water in it.

Lightweight and nice

The bottle has a dark stain, possibly from lead or some other metal contamination. Additionally, the cap doesn’t close properly. It’s a simple fix—use a different material, like steel or BPA-free plastic, for the top part, similar to how Contigo or Under Armour design their leakproof bottles. Keep the copper limited to the lower portion of the bottle (below the neck) for its benefits, rather than using it around the neck where the cap fits. Copper in that area leads to a poor fit and a leaky design. This product is hopelessly designed and mindlessly executed. Honestly, if it were made in China, they’d probably have done a better job.

I did have trouble getting the top to screw on so I asked my husband if he could get it on and he got the lid on without any problems. When I first put the lid on it did leak but when my husband put the lid on I found out he got it on right and now it doesn't leak and I use this bottle every day. I would buy this bottle again.

The love the taste of the water. Does not taste like lead, metal or steel. Clear & clean water. However, it leaks while in the pocket of my backpack. It’s hard to screw on correctly.

Loving the hammered copper design, but also the functionality of the black sipper top - no leaks whatsoever, and nice wide mouth sipper. Perfect for my work desk and the gym. Came with great instructions for maintaining the copper bottle also.

WOW-GOOD copper water bottle. I use it everyday. Highly recommend for any who want sweet delicious water. I keep it in the fridge and fill with cold water so it keeps water cold for most of the day. Of course it is best when used with fresh aquifer water.
