This review is for the cream in the tub version, not the lotion. This has a similar thick consistency to the Body Shop’s body butters. It works for mosquito bites and itchy irritated skin due to other reasons. It has a topical analgesic which starts working within minutes and the effect lasts for 6-8 hours. Clean the area first with soap and water, dry it and apply this liberally. Then leave it alone. Don’t touch it, certainly don’t itch it. I always get giant bumps, mostly on my legs and upper arms, due to mosquito bites and they itch for days. Days! Then they don’t heal properly since I can’t keep myself from itching. It’s not a fun experience. Those pesky little things bite through pants and shirts. I use bug repellents but they’re not always 100% effective. Since I also like outdoors, this seems like the perfect solution. Just don’t stop using a repellent in the first place to prevent it from happening. If you still get bitten or if you have eczema, this cream works great.

It worked for me (though it might not work for everyone, so I advise caution). I didn’t experience any aftereffects afterwards.

As a long time eczema sufferer, I have tried what seems like hundreds of products, looking for the right one. All of the 1% “safe for the face” creams that I’ve tried, have made the eczema on my face worse. Until now! I tested a patch on my arm and forehead before using on the skin around my eyes (where I suffer the worst). There was no stinging after use. The cream isn’t greasy, but really moisturises well, and really helped me with the itch too! I received this product yesterday morning and tested straight away. Then I used it last night before bed. My horrible flare up is now days ahead in its healing than it would otherwise have been. Can’t recommend it enough!

Bought this because it contains pramoxine hydrochloride, a medically approved compound known to inhibit nerve signal paths which trigger skin itching. Helps to relieve skin itch while providing moisturising functions to the skin. This is one of the few brands in the market offering this lotion, and I bought this on Amazon because it's cheaper and is not available in retail stores. Dermatologist recommended.

I had a nasty itchy reaction to a bandage adhesive. This product was very effective. and works FAST. It's unscented. Psychologically, it was a relief to know I could slather as much cream as I wanted, including lovely big thick glops on my arms. Not greasy. So easy to apply, using gentle massaging. Ahh, relief from irritation! Great value for money.
