The battery inside of the camera died after about 2 years (date/time stopped saving) and while the camera was out of warranty, instead of the manufacturer trying to just tell me it’s busted and to by a new one, they sent me a step by step video tutorial on how to disassemble the camera, unsolder the old battery, and solder a new one in. As an electronics hobbyist, this is a level of customer support you will never see from a mainstream company. Product works great and looks identical to my car. Blends awesome. Great camera quality, app is kinda slow but that’s the WiFi’s fault. I just use the SD card anyways. I would recommend this product and brand to anyone looking to get a dash cam!

I have a 2020 BMW 5 Series, the installation was very easy, took about 15 to 20 minutes to do it. The hardest part was to organize the wires so that i can put the panels back, but with a little bit of patience i was able to do it. I have installed dash cam's before, and it needed me to hide the wire under the trim and it never was this clean. Compared to those kind of dash cam's, this installation was a breeze. The video installation guide was helpful. The overall look of the dash cam on the car is great, it hides behind the mirror and is very non obtrusive. Both camera and the mirror work as expected after the installation. It came with a 64 gb memory card pre installed, i had to use the app to connect to the device. That went smooth as well, app is simple and straight forward. The quality of the video is very good and i am happy with product. I highly recommend this product.

Bought camera for my wife's 2023 BMW 540i. Tech Support asked me for make/model/year prior to fulfilling order just to make sure I was ordering the correct item. Installation: Getting the first piece off was a bit of a challenge but after that it was pretty easy install.IOS APP: During that time they were updating there IOS app and sent a link to another similar app. Had some trouble connecting to the camera Wi-Fi but after some research I discovered I had to turn off Celluar and Bluetooth to connect my Iphone to the Camera. After that was able to connect and configure the settings to suit my taste. A little inconvenience but just REMEMBER to turn back on when done. Just recently, FITCAM did release their updated IOS app and works while turning off Cellular and Bluetooth. It's called FitDVR. This may be a problem for people searching the app store since it is slightly different name. The 64gb SD chip is located on the side of the camera and easy to pop in and out if you want to look at videos on your computer. All and all a nice camera and blends right in.

I bought this webcam after looking their instruction video on YouTube and website. I watched a few of them and all of them seem to be fairly straightforward, you remove three pieces of shroud plastic, install this and put the cables in. However, it's never that easy as on the video so my thinking is the example car used in those video already had the pieces putting on and off many times and they're loose enough to record videos for. In reality, on my 2022 540i, I spent nearly an hour trying to pull the first piece of the shroud off. I have a good sense of pressure and force and I'd say it feels like I'm pulling at least 100-200lb from my finger and it just won't come off even a tiny bit. I let my roommate tried it too and he also couldn't. So sadly had to return the item. Was so excited for the prospect of installing it but no luck in removing the pieces from my car.

The camera quality of this dashcam is comparable to other high end dash available in the market but is a little bit more cheaper. I love how it looks OEM and has that feel that its always been part of the car. Im not going to lie, it is a little bit hard to install if you have big hands. You may need help with someone who has small fingers. But once you get it installed it looks really good as it has that OEM feel to it. The customer support before and after purchase is what really gives this a 5 star. Seller was always there to answers questions I have before and after buying it. Helped me out from start to finish making sure everything was working properly. If you guys are on the fence about buying this I can verify that you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this product.

Having a dash cam protects you against others who may have wronged you. Otherwise it's a war of words. Video is proof of any violation. The fit is perfect and it beats cords hanging down and being routed around the car. It looks oem and was somewhat easy to install with patients. The app connected and works well. It seems well made and correct fit.

Overall good design, perfect integration, and functionality as advertised! Really would buy here again. Super responsive seller, all description is spot on. The video documentation is good but it takes a little finess to get the BMW covers back on but gentle and easy does make them snap in place. The actual installation of the supplied camera and parts is super easy. Make sure you tuck the wires away well so the do not cover the ventilation slots of the OEM covers or make it harder to snap them back on. Functionality is good and as detailed. Storage on 4k is good enough to have a 9h round trip on a loop recording. saving and auto saving on sensor trigger are all selectable option. Do not hesitate to buy from this good seller, shipping was faster than quoted even before the holidays. Recommend highly.

Purchased this for a BMW 550I Xdrive. The fitment was excellent. Looks like its a part of the vehicles original trim. A bit tedious to install but in the end wasn't difficult. The only problem I have with this purchase is after doing some research on Fitmax's website. I could have purchased the same camera with a rear cam option. Here it is not offered. The problem going forward is you CAN NOT purchase a front cam and then later a rear. Per Fitmax they will not match up.

Excellent product, easy to install, 1 hour tops. Look totally factory OEM, and integrates with the car wiring effortlessly. My only tiny issue was the sticker to cover the sensor hole (my car doesn’t have that sensor) has a white rectangle to cover this hole. I didn’t realise that this white part needs to be removed (it’s like a sticker within a sticker) to reveal a nice shiny black “fake sensor” to fill the unused hole. I messaged the customer service via their app and on a Saturday afternoon, I got a response within 3 minutes. They sent me the graphic (attached) to explain the tiny cosmetic issue. Top marks! Camera looks excellent and functions perfectly. It’s almost surprising to get such a good product and service these days. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tolle Dashcam und besser als die originale von BMW, da sich diese integriert und wenn man es nicht weis, dann erkennt man diese nicht. Einbau war in 15 Minuten erledigt, Wlan und Einrichtung der Kamera ging auch in 5 Minuten. Preislich auch in Ordnung für die Qualität. Da die Kabel recht lang sind, habe ich diese im Himmel versteckt, ist etwas fummelig aber bekommt man hin.

Camera assembly is relatively easy, there is a bit of struggle to get the new extended cables to fit under the rearview mirror assembly but it is in fact doable, and nothing out of this world, but do expect to lose around 1 to 1.5 hours to get everything snug, but their video is pretty self explanatory. Camera can't be seen almost from the outside as it looks very OEM. No cables trailing through anywhere, everything connects and stays within the rear mirror assembly. Video quality seems decent, its not up there with proper 4k but it is good 1440p at least. Built in Micro SD card is a 64gb one so plenty of room and there is a an easy side access to remove it and delete old footage if needed, you can also connect via Wifi to check live view take pictures or delete old clips, but for what it seems this will stop the recording while you are doing it. App could be slightly better with more customization but still decent product.
