NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick - Alien (Black)

Really enjoying this!! I especially like that I don't have to worry about it transferring to other things. It stays put...well, I notice a little transfer when I'm drinking/eating something, but it's not bad at all. I purchased multiple colors, the Alien Black, Pink Lust, Respect the Pink, and Kitten Heels. They all look vibrant and nearly perfectly matte. I usually apply and then wait a couple minutes and apply another coat and wow. They're amazing. These last most of the day. I think this is my favorite line from NYX. If I'm planning on wearing this all day, I either use an exfoliator, balm, and/or chapstick underneath so that my lips don't dry out. This is not a moisturizing lipstick. When I don't use something underneath then I notice that it flakes a little nearing the end of the work day. But I have found that using a moisturizing lipstick over it makes it last all day and it doesn't flake. I think that my favorite color of the ones I purchased is Kitten Heels by far...it's a bright red and just pops. The Alien Black isn't 100% black, but it's really close. The Pink Lust is very vibrant. Respect the Pink is perfect and a light yet bright pink. Watch the pricing on this product as you can get colors for way cheaper at different times. I purchased mine at $1.81 and currently it's sitting at $6.97. But on average, I've found these for around $3 and always purchase at about that price point. So be mindful of that and wait for your color(s) to move price. I usually save them in my cart and when the price changes I'm notified and I'll move them to my cart and purchase them. Just a helpful hint. Pros: The colors are vibrant! The black is nearly 100% black! These stay on most of the day. They really are matte. I haven't had any stain my clothes or hands. These colors are opaque. The price point is really great! Cons: Lightly flakes after hours of use. It has stained my teeth and tongue, so I'm just careful and don't have that problem. Beautiful color! Lasts a long time, doesnt really feel like it ever fully dries. Great quality.

This is nice but doesn’t stay on as well as Maybelline. It will transfer a little bit and starts to dry and flake. It does go on well and the color is very saturated.

Beautiful color. Easy application

The formula goes on nicely. It doesn't lift up color if you add a second coat (though I found it's pigmented enough that only 1 layer is necessary). It's easy to find black eyeliner to match. The downside is that it's def not transfer proof or smudge proof. If you touch it you'll get it on your fingers. Def not kiss proof, you'll end up with blue all over your partner and smeared all over your face. It stayed put for hours while I drank, but it immediately wore off my lips and went all over my chin when I ate a sandwich (which would be embarrassing if you're in a restaurant). I also found that I couldn't chew gum while wearing it bc it caused the lip color to rub off onto my teeth (a problem I didn't have otherwise). It looks great with a clear gloss on top. However I found that with a gloss over it it bleeds the color onto the skin above the lips, looking like you have a thousand little wrinkles. This could be due to the pencil I used as liner (Maybelline Tattoo Studio Gel Pencil). Maybe I needed a less creamy pencil for the liner. Or it could be the formula. I also bought this in blue and found the same issues. It has staying power as long as you don't touch it, eat or chew gum. Fortunately it doesn't dry out the lips, though I would recommend moisturizing them a lot before applying. Given how many companies make black lipstick I would look elsewhere and get a transfer proof, smudge proof lip product.

Loved the color and it dries easily. However, it easily comes off as flakes on whatever you get your lips/mouth on, say on a bottle of water. The tube doesn't contain much either. It says 4ml but it's prolly less than that. I'm giving it 4stars cause I love the color and how I shock people with its boldness. ;)

J'ai adoré d'autre teintes des Nyx liquid Suede mais je trouve que le Orange n'est pas assez opaque : il en faut en mettre 2 couches et malgré tout, il reste discret. Je m'attendais à un vrai orange

Questo Prodotto non delude mai ,ormai Acquistato anche e come regalo per le amiche e zie … texture fenomenale , quasi vellutato , risultato top che non lascia segni particolari e soprattutto il prodotto rimane uniforme dove l’hai messo , non sbava e non tende a seccarsi come tanti altri prodotti simili di altre marche che ho provato . Per me super consigliato !

I have got 3 shades from NYC suede collection. Cherry skies, Kitten Heels and Soft spoken. Kitten Heels is my favourite lipstick among these all. It's truly red color that wake your face up and gives a noticeable glamorous look. Stays for 5-6 hrs with meals without any problems. You can obviously give some touch-ups if you like. I have alot to talk about this color but I would brief the story and say this gives you perfect payoff even on pigmented lips like I do have. This lipstick rock on Everytime never disappoint me. I have medium to fair skin tone and it suits me well. Infact I think it would be great on all skin tones without any complaints. I am a red lipstick lover and have many shades of red from different brands. But this one is super cool. So girls go for it ....
