I love this tuner, simple, accurate and very reasonable, great battery life and quality would buy again

The Snark tuners are hard to beat for the price. I have a few of them plus some other brands but the Snark works great. Bright display.

Works great

This is a decent tuner. The frequency is not adjustable so I will have to assume for now that it is calibrated to a 440 E. You will get what you pay for, it's inexpensive and will do the trick if you are playing solo. If you are playing with a band, you will need to check it's calibration with others tuners. The sensitivity and accuracy is adequate for the price, but not as sharp as I'd like it to be. Good budget beginner's tuner. It was charged to about 70% out of the box and comes with a 3 inch charging cable. Other than on/off, there are no controls. Display shows chromatic tuning and battery level only.

I have an earlier version of the black Snark tuner for my ukuleles and it did just fine, it got the job done- see the photo of the black and blue tuners. The black Snark was great for ukuleles but wasn't responsive for tuning a bass guitar. I bought the blue SN1X tuner which is advertised for the bass and found that it was very quick and responsive to low vibrating strings but also found that there was the same quick accuracy and response for the ukes! The black tuner is now sidelined in favor of the blue SN1X. Also, I don't think the price can be beat for what you get.

I love this tuner! It clips on the instrument, and is easy to use. Have not had to change the battery and I have used it quite a few years already. I would definitely buy this tuner again.

It really disappoints me to have to leave this review. Frankly, this product is garbage and I recommend folks look elsewhere. I initially liked it enough that I immediately ordered a second one. Now I wish I could still return both of them. What's wrong? (1) Battery life is absolute garbage. You'll be lucky to get 2 playing sessions out of it. At least it charges fast and doesn't require a battery replacement. But, if you're relying on this, plan to bring a charger with you. (2) Tracking is sometimes quite bad (especially when the battery is low). I've had times when, while bringing a string up to pitch, the tuner got "stuck" and just stopped responding to pitch changes. (3) The little plastic finger that rests under the head stock (can be seen prominently in the product pictures) breaks very easily. Other reviewers have posted pictures of this. I found my first one broken like this (just last night) and earlier today I brought it into the basement to try super-gluing it (don't know yet if that will work) -- ironically, when I came back upstairs and moved my guitar that had my second CLT on it, it fell off. When I picked it up I noticed that it, too, had broken! (I guess I will glue it too if the first one works out). Please note these have not been abused -- I am always very gentle with my equipment. Ironically, the older Snarks also had a build problem: the ball joint was held onto by 3 little plastic fingers, and those would sometimes break off (I've had two or three break like that). But at least they had good battery life and tracking. It's almost like designed-in obsolescence is a Snark feature. For me, I think it's time to try another brand.

Tried it on a handful of my guitars so far...acoustics and electrics...strats, teles, martins, danelectros...fits well and I love that it's small and can't be seen much from the audience perspective. Clip has been strong for me, display is bright and accurate. Pretty hard to beat....the fact that it's rechargeable is a major bonus as well

SNARK, you have permanently lost a customer. I've used your clip-on tuners for literally decades. Ordered two of these. BOTH are DOA. Neither take a charge, and of the two, one literally fell apart in my hands. How these passed QA is beyond me. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Utter garbage.

Excelente afinador, el material es bueno pero da la impresión de que con un buen golpe se puede romper, fuera de eso cumple su función, también tiene metrónomo y puedes configurarlo para afinar tu instrumento en diferentes frecuencias.

So muss ein Stimmgerät sein. Spricht bei allen verwendeten Instrumenten schnell und sicher an und das Ergebnis ist super. Verwende es für Akustik-Gitarre, 12-String Guitarre, Ukulele, Bass-Ukulele, E-Gitarre. An/Aus Knopf schaltet leicht und griffig. Die Anzeige ist angenehm gross und durch die Farbigkeit sehr gut ablesbar. Das Blau ist auffallend edel - wer was Dezentes will, ist hier falsch. Tolles Teil.

Works great, no complaints

Used the first version SNARK for years, when it did give up it was due to the plastic in the ball socket giving out and breaking so it was not possible to attach to the clip. This version has a much reinforced socket so I am confident I will get many more years of use out of this one. Works great, obviously. Great buy!
