Outstanding outdoor fan. Definitely a step up from the home improvement store fans that I have purchased in the past. Installation was straight forward and the fan's motor runs very smooth. Also bought the extension rod and generic fan remote. Seems to circulate a great deal of air and looks great. Very happy.

We bought two of these fans and put them outside in our porch. They are very attractive and put out enough air to keep the mosquitoes away.

Installed this fan in the family room in my Florida condo where we live four months a year. During the three (4 month) seasons we had this fan, it was used very sparingly. It worked OK when it was first installed then last season I noticed a loud motor hum, which was loudest at mid speed and the fan didn't seem to change speeds very much at all from low to mid to high. It just goes slow. The fan control switch was eliminated as a possible cause. So now after using the fan a couple of dozen times, I have to throw it out and buy another one. I'll be sure not to buy this one again. I had installed a different ceiling fan in the master bedroom several years ago that has been used much more often. That one still works great and is quiet at all speeds. Update: Spoke to customer service. He told me the problem was probably a bad starting capacitor. He said he just handled the same problem that morning. When I get back there in January, I'll replace the capacitor to see if that repairs it. If it does, I'll update my review. Update: Installed the new capacitor. It now rotates at all speeds but still has a hum which is louder at higher speeds. However, the manufacturer demonstrated excellent customer service. They sent me a whole new fan - three years after I bought it!

Very pleased with fan. Quick shipping. This fan is quiet, efficient, and puts out a good deal of air volume with the wider blades. Some fans we’ve had have a hum. Others never seem to be able to be balanced. This fan isn’t like that. The quality manufacturer and the ease of installation is great. We aren’t using a light kit, but, the instructions are straight forward and simple to understand. We are slowing replacing all of our ceiling fans with these models. While they are more expensive, I feel they are worth every penny. Highly recommended.

I specifically stated that I wanted made in USA ceiling fans in my Amazon search. After paying to instaIl the fan, I was disturbed to note on the box that it was made in China. I did an extensive search to find fans made in the USA and thought this had been.

Loved the fan, was missing a piece of hardware and could not install. Tried to get a replacement and it had been discontinued. Returned this item.

Great design and easy to install. Just as described and shown in the picture - makes a great addition to our patio.
