I bought this for my studio. It smells really like lavander which is pleasant. Its a gel like texture so its nice and runny. I put it on for about 30ish mins on my "ready" setting and its not too hot or gummy. I use this for face waxing and I personally like it a lot. It works well for sensitive skin. I still get some mild redness from clients tho. I will def repurchase.

I have been using this wax since 2018, and have used various types of their soft wax. I'm going to write this review aimed at beginner/novice DIY waxers. *For the advanced crowd: 100% recommend the soft wax, haven't tried the hard wax. FIRST THINGS FIRST: if you haven't watched *multiple* youtube vids on the basics of DIY waxing, as well as for the SPECIFIC body part(s) you intend to wax, or the difference between hard and soft wax, stop reading this and go do that. At home waxing is ***NOT*** something you should be figuring out as you go after you've already bought a product. Watch videos from different channels and find one that has solid instructions to prep your skin and hair pre-wax as well as post-wax care instructions, and very clear visuals and instructions on how to wax correctly. Make sure you have the correct tools and are using them correctly , as well as having the appropriate products. Seriously y'all, this shit is no joke; the reason people burn their skin has nothing to do with the wax itself, and everything to do with lack of knowledge and preparation. Most of the critical reviews and answered questions I've read about this product are coming from people who do not know how to wax correctly, don't understand the properties of the wax they're using, or don't know the difference between hard and soft wax (TEMPERATURE MATTERS YA'LL!). Lastly, actually read the NAME and DESCRIPTION on *the FRONT of each container*. All of the different waxes are NOT the same; they have a very clear description on what each one is specifically designed for (HAIR TYPE MATTERS Y'ALL!). As for my personal experience with this product: I have never received a gross looking/possibly used container. If that ever happens, I'll ask for a replacement and update this review to let you know it goes *pinky swear*. I'm a redhead with verrrry fine blonde body hair as well as facial hair, but dark coarser hair under my arms, bikini area, and brows. But my "coarse hair" is very different than people of a different genetic background than mine. For instance, my Italian boyfriend who is covered in dark, coarse hair, I would not use the wax I use for myself on him. I wanted a wax that was effective for all my various hair types rather than having to use different wax for different areas. I started out with the Satin Smooth Aloe Vera Wax with Vitamin E (that's the name as written on the front of the container). Description on the front of the container says that its ideal for fine to medium hair, contains aloe to help condition skin, for sensitive mature skin types, for all body parts. 8/10, it did the job, but I felt like it wasn't as great on my upper lip (in terms of getting a strong grip on all the fine hairs) as it was for my under arms and bikini, and it also left my upper lift with a sting-y feeling post-wax. Still, I used most of the container before ordering a new one. Since then I have been using (and have repurchased multiple times) the Satin Smooth Ultra Sensitive Zinc Oxide Wax (that's the name as written on the front of the container). Description on the front of the container says for fine hair removal, ideal for fine to medium hair, suited for delicate, blemish-prone skin, for facial and ultra-sensitive areas. And this stuff is *perfection* for me everywhere, face, underarms, and bikini. No more sting-y post wax feeling, and really is superior for waxing my very fine upper lip hair. One last note, I've seen people complaining about wax being stuck to the lid/very messy. Soft wax is, well, soft. It's going to go with gravity, so if your Amazon package was left sitting in a way that your wax container wasn't sitting upright, then give it a few hours to sit upright so that it will slide back down where it's supposed to be instead of on the lid. I hope this was helpful, and please remember to DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Feels great! I’ve used it for my face so far and it really grips everything, even peach fuzz but it doesn’t hurt to pull off! Even better if you do it fresh out the shower, dry off and apply a light dusting of baby powder to where you’re going to wax. Didn’t have to pluck or rewax my eyebrows for about another month which is saying somethig because I have extremely bushy eyebrows.
