Tru-Spec Mens Boonie, Tru 100% CTTN R/S W/Loops

Looks great on my brain can. Quality hat, lightweight, and comes in fitted sizes. I love the short brim. Those one size fits all style hats don’t compare.

This is a very good boonie hat. It is made of sturdy materials, but the fabric is thin enough so it is not too hot, which is a failing of a lot of other boonie hats that I have purchased. I got a 7 and 3/4 size which fit correctly for my head. All in all, this is probably the best boonie hat you can buy on Amazon, and the price was not too bad either.

The hat is top quality, good value for money, size does not run “large” as some revues said. Make sure to order actual head size.

I am putting together a BDU for myself and this hat will complete it. Here is the trouble buying any kind of clothing online; trying to get the right fit. Every company's sizing is different. I have a hat that fits me perfect and it has Medium on the tag. I have a cowboy hat that fits perfect it has 7 1/8 size on it. I ordered this boonie in a 7 and I had that little voice telling me it would be too small and it was. It was very tight. So I ordered a 7 1/2 just in case the sizes run small. I love the hat looks well made so I have my fingers crossed that the one coming fits right. I wish Tru Spec made the All Terrain Tiger in a baseball cap or contractor cap style I probably would get it than this boonie. Update: I wore my Boonie for the first time. Was working outside full sun 96 degree temp. 102 degree heat index. The hat was very comfortable loved every inch of that brim provided a lot of protection. There was no breeze at all so this 'floppyness' that some are talking about I haven't experienced as of yet. Also, I wear a bandana to protect my ears and neck and it fit fine with the hat. If I wore a balaclava it would also fit well. UPDATE: Still loving my ATTS Boonie. Its definitly a work hat exactly what I needed. Before I even wore it I sprayed it with Scotch Guard waterproofer and then sprayed heavy starch on the brim and ironed it flat. Before it dried I folded the brim to create corrugations and allowed it to completely dry to set the folds. By corrugating the brim on a boonie hat it prevents the floppy problem so many complain of. I toss it in the wash and never into the dryer. When its done in the wash I take it out fold it and put something on it to hold in place and allow to dry out. To avoid the 'lamp shade' effect I then open it up and let it sit flat on the table so it conforms into the shape it is to be worn. This material is highly conformable especially with the heavy starch treatment. The wide brim is great for keeping the sun out of my eyes. Update: I've had this hat for a year now and have wore it a lot in scorching Florida heat sweating like a pig. I've washed it dozens of times never machine drying. I have two one that I wear one in reserve and never wear. When placed side by side there is very little fading which you just don't find in most camo clothing which is a tribute to Tru Spec quality. Wish I could give 5 stars but the sizing issue must be deducted.

Amazing hat! I kind of collect boonie hats… out of them all, this one is my favorite because of how it fits and feels on my head. I recommend this product and seller to other customers.

I use this hat for hiking and camping. Fits well, works well. Can dip it into water on hot days and protects from the sun. Fits great and seems well made. Looks a lot cooler than other alternatives if that matters. Packs away easily when not needed and vents well on the sides. Has a map pocket on the top but you can use it for whatever you want that will fit. All around a great hat.

I can wholeheartedly say this boonie hat served its purpose! Took it with me on a hot day in Jordan and hiked into Petra, I was shielded from the blistering heat of the day. Provided enough coverage and shielding from the hot sun that day that I ordered another. Not to mention I wore it for one of my favorite selfies that the shot was perfect. A must if you’re going to need something to cover you in the hot sun’

El producto es bueno, la presentación, calidad de la tela (es 50% algodón y 50% sintético) las medidas fueron exactas pues pedí 7.5 y yo soy 7 1/4 lo cual hice para tener un poco de más comodidad y me quedo tal como lo calculé, el diseño y colores es bonito, me gusta mucho y comprare en otros colores, lo recomiendo sin problema.

Tiene buen color, patron bien hecho, costuras bien hechas, la tela no es tal delgada justo lo que se espera de las telas ripstop, se ve resistente, la tela tiene buena consistencia, lo recomiendo ampliamente, quede satisfecho con la compra.
