I have bought more than one of this make of pan. They seem good quality for the price although I haven’t used all of them yet. I much prefer stainless steel to chemical non-stick. They are a little bit heavier than I thought they would be but they look good and are easy to clean. My only gripe is that the manufacturer sticks a label onto the side of each pan which is difficult to remove and leaves a sticky residue……..completely unnecessary in my opinion. Overall very pleased with them though. I’ve just ordered a frying pan to match the pans.

Love this pan, have used it for a stir fry. Excellent quality but rather annoyingly the labels both inside and round the side of the pan were very hard to remove especially the sticky residue.

1.8L stainless steel Kadai with lid. I was sent this in return for my honest opinion on it. This is a fantastic design, that isn't too heavy, nor too large. It's 24cm round, so slightly wider than stated, it's only 6.5cm tall. There are handles on each side, these are around 9cm x 8cm. This feels nice and sturdy, it stands by itself and feels durable. There is also a lid, this has a handle on it too. This works well to cook with. Be aware not to leave it alone when frying though, else it will stick, as it does warm up quite quickly. When cooking, the handles do get quite warm so be aware of that. We used this in the oven. It didnt say whether you could or couldn't but we assumed it would be fine being all stainless steel and being a Kadai too. This worked fine. It is small for a kadai bowl, but it holds a good quantity and it cooks food fairly quickly too. It can take a good scrub from a metal scourer without the quality being effected when cooking. Not bad for the price. I would recommend it. I'm intrigued to want to test this on my fire pit, like proper Kadai bowls, we will in summer!

I had not previously realised what a Kadai is, but it is the traditional style of Indian cooking pot - always heavy metal and like a wok but with a flat base. This particular one is really good quality stainless steel and is idea for cooking on an induction hob or on gas, but would also be fine on any other cooking medium. One of the BEST things about it is that the handles of the pan and the lid do not get hot when the pan is being used. If you put it in the oven it would of course get hot, but this is designed to be used on the hob and you can bring it up to quite a high heat and the handles are still not hot. I have boiled some potatoes in it, made a stir fry and also a chicken fricasée (i.e. with a sauce made with cream and stock). It worked really well for all three and did not stick. I have the smallest one which is perfect for 1 or 2 people - you would need a bigger one for a family or for cooking large quantities but overall I think it is a terrific pan. I suspect I will use it more than any other pan in future.
