Si far I’ve just used it for lighting small animals that I photographed at close quarters. I found I got pretty even light and was pleased with the shots. It did run out of power after about an hour of running. It has some gimmicky features I haven’t used yet but might be fun. Overall, a handy extra light source that’s good for what it is and worth keeping in a camera bag.

This little light is quite impressive. Its brighter than I thought it would be and light enough to mount on a camera or stick to a metal subject with the built in magnet. The controls on the back are easy to use and adjustments can be made quickly. The dimming function is a bit hit or miss, it appears to jump in multiples of ten - or atleast its noticable in those ranges. I would buy more of these and I would recommend them to others.

This little light is absolutely awesome, a couple of quid more than another brand I bought but so much better. I bought this light to stick above my PC monitor to illuminate me during zoom calls but it is so much better than that. I'm a studio photographer who makes a few YouTube videos too the effects this light offers could be really cool for background lightning in video. In stills I mainly shoot portraits sometimes people have wide iris because of low ambient light and modelling lights on strobes aren't strong enough to close the pupil one of these on the foldable of my Godox X2T trigger would be able to be controlled to match strobes temperature or failed back enough not to affect the exposure will be great I think. The ability to add extra lights using the three coldshoe slots on each side means you can get even bigger and better. The only thing that would make this light a bit better would be a Bluetooth app so you could control lots of them at once you could build some amazing video setups with loads of these linked together and an app would make that just a little easier.

Bought one of these for my father so we now have one each. We do a lot of fungi photography in the Autumn and this has turned out to be the perfect tool. Mounted on a mini tripod and a small arm (both bought from Amazon), allows me to rotate the light in any direction to either light the top, side or underneath of most mushrooms. As you might know it can be pretty dark in the woods when you're low to the ground shooting mushrooms, but this device has a decent maximum brightness and sufficient levels to allow me to control the exposure I want. I don't use the colours much for fungi so mainly stick with the white light, and we tend to set these up with one on warm and one on cool white. The colours I tend to leave for indoor photography. There are cheaper versions of this light as I suspect they are all made in the same place, but I decided to go for the Godox version as I feel the customer support might be a bit better if needed. I will be getting another at some point in the near future and would highly recommend this light,

These small "Video" lights are great for my work as a stills Wedding Photographer, so great when I need to capture details shots of such as perfume, shoes, tiara etc. But they are also ideal for adding a little light to aid focus for such as 1st Dance and especially Sparkler shoots too They are small, versatile and remarkably powerful for such small, lightweight, units. During my first testing of them I shot for around an hour and battery-life was still over 50% when I'd done Being able to dial-in WB is great too for either balancing the ambient, or contrasting to add colour drama They've even proved useful for me preparing gear in the boot of my car at night, as they are magnetic too and stick to the boot-lid flooding the boot with light :)

I like to dabble a little into the world of macro photography and I always need a bit of extra light. I've been looking at these kind of small lights for a while on Amazon, and the choice of products is overwhelming. I know Godox have a good reputation for lighting solutions, however this one never popped up on a search. I only stumbled across it looking on their official page at other macro lighting setups. It costs a little more than some of the common results, but the brand name gave it a little more credibility. This light it amazing, for such a little unit it seriously pumps out some lumins, and the controllability of it is fantastic. The ability to be able to control the colour allows for more creativity when composing shots. Can't recommend this highly enough!

Ik gebruikt het om mijn onderwerp wat te verlichten bij het nemen van een foto zonder hiervoor steeds een flits te moeten gebruiken. Je kan er zelfs spelen met de kleuren.

Great light for the size and perfect for on the go videography! This has been a space saver for taking camera on trips, and times with limited space for larger led light systems.

No voy a extenderme en lo que hace esta luz porque lo más probable es que ya te hayas leído las características y hasta hayas visto vídeos explicando qué hace. Pero resumamos lo que ofrece: 1 - modo CCT, donde puedes regular la temperatura desde 3200 a 6500, no está mal, aunque hay luces pequeñas como esta que te llegan hasta 9000. Puedes aquí regular la intensidad. 2 - Modo RGB, donde tienes 360 grados de color y regulación de saturación e intensidad. No voy a decir que puedas obtener cualquier color del espectro, pero estamos hablando de una luz de menos de 30€ 3 - Efectos, como los típicos de fuego, luces de policía etc. Mi favorito es el fuego, por cierto. Puntos que a mi me gustaría destacar: SUJECCIÓN. No se comenta que puedes por supuesto cogerla en la mano y apuntarla como te parezca, ya que es pequeña y prácticamente no pesa nada. Tiene una rosca de 1/4 y zapata, con lo que la puedes sujetar prácticamente con cualquier cosa. Aparte tiene un imán, aunque no es tan potente, pero puedes colocarla con cuidado en muchas superficies metálicas. Tiene aparte tres ranuras donde puede ponerse la zapata de otra luz del mismo tipo, con lo que puedes combinar 2, 4 luces, etc. Aquí veo una carencia porque yo no logro apretar de manera efectiva una zapata contra una de esas ranuras, si uno dos luces quedas sujetas pero no tanto como deberían. De nuevo, son luces ligeras, se pueden apretar lo suficiente, no se van a separar fácilmente. CALIDAD. Por el precio a mi me parece una calidad sobrada Es un plástico rígido, no se te a a romper y creo que sobreviviría a una caída. Los botones y el interruptor son cómodos de usar y parecen de buena calidad. Tiene una especie de tapa traslúcida para difuminar la luz, pero podrías quitarla si necesitases más potencia. La calidad de la luz me parece muy buena, tiene un CRI de 95. Un detalle muy bueno es el puerto USB-C para cargar la batería interna. CONTRAS. Tenemos que tener el cuenta el precio de esta luz. . la potencia es de 6W, con lo que no podemos pensar en usarla más que para relleno, o iluminar objetos pequeños, o como luz 'práctica' de fondo. . el imán no es muy potente, si la pones en una superficie vertical que no tenga mucha densidad de metal, se te puede resbalar, quizá algún tipo de textura rugosa en la parte trasera ayudaría. Pero si la superficie no está en vertical te aguanta. Por ejemplo yo la coloco en una barra de la cama y no se cae. . al unir varias de ellas es difícil apretar la rosca de la zapata para que queden bien unidas . no tiene un control remoto o app para seleccionar el color que quieres. De nuevo, por este precio no puedes pedir más USOS. Yo le he encontrado varios. . iluminar pequeños objetos . luz práctica de fondo . luz de relleno o de efecto de pequeños objetos . colocada en la zapata de la cámara puede servirte como luz de vídeo o ayudarte en situaciones de poca luz . es una luz auxiliar genérica, yo la uso a veces por la noche para iluminar parte de una estancia, cuando quieres la mínima luz. También como sustituta de una linterna, o cuando estoy haciendo algo en un sitio oscuro y necesito una luz, pongo un pequeño trípode y engancho una o dos luces, perfecto. Estoy muy contento con esta luz, me compré otra para tener una pareja y le encuentro todo tipo de utilidades, por menos de 30€ yo creo que no se puede pedir más. Sólo debes tener en cuenta que es una luz pequeña.
