No it is not electric. However it is a very nice cooler that we purchased as a Father's Day Gift for the "Mancave Craftsman Garage" and he loves it.

I love it, just curious if it dents (outside)easily and how well does the can opener work?

It hasn't been dented yet. It looks like it might easily, but I have bumped into things with it when I move it around and so far no dents. The can opener works fine. No problems there.

what material are the wheels made of?

They are made off turf plastic. This is a awesome item for either in your home or in your backyard.. I love mine .

Where can I find a cover that fits?

Not sure - the one I purchased came with the lid.
