A photographic masterpiece that uses birds to explain anxiety—and now I feel seen, feathered, and emotionally validated. Each page features a bird doing something suspiciously relatable: staring into the void, panicking mid-flight, or looking like it just remembered that one embarrassing moment from 2007. It’s like someone took my inner monologue and gave it wings. Highlights: Photos are hilarious and weirdly accurate. One owl looks like it just got ghosted. Another parrot is clearly overthinking a text. Descriptions are gentle, insightful, and comforting. It’s like therapy, but with talons. Perfect for kids, teens, adults, and anyone who’s ever said “I’m fine” while vibrating with existential dread. Would recommend to: People with anxiety People who love birds People who are birds with anxiety Anyone who needs a laugh and a hug at the same time This book is proof that anxiety is universal—and sometimes, it squawks

This book is such a great tool for teaching. The author makes good use of all types of birds to talk about the different reactions that anxiety can bring out in people. I actually learned some things that I didn't realize were actually possible symptoms of having anxiety. This book would be a great tool to use to teach children about anxiety.
