LOVE this little lamp
I absolutely love this lamp! It is so easy to turn on and off, and you can also dim it or make it a little brighter. It is the perfect nighttime light for your bathroom, or for whatever, where you don’t want full lighting. I keep it on top of the toilet tank so that I don’t have to turn on the blinding overhead light when I need to use the restroom in the middle of the night. I also use it for nighttime showers when I just want to have a peaceful candlelight effect. The fact that it’s battery operated, makes it so versatile! You literally just pick it up and put it where you want it to be! No plugs, just this beautiful elegant little lamp that turns on and off with one easy touch to the top of the lamp.

Great Light
I got one of these from a former employer 12 years ago and it still works perfectly fine. We use it for camping and have it on my nightstand. Wanted to have another one for downstairs in case of power outage or just for a small lamp. Just love it!

Keeps off a nice light that shines down on my table. Great for camping, great for every day use.
So practical and useful. The light shines down on the table, which makes it easy to read at night or write at a table. Love my purchase!

Decent lamp
Nice light. Brighter than expected. Described that it's a one hand tap, but tapping seems to only work if holding the base with the other hand. Light does not fade low or bright as described but it's an ok light for the price. Will be great for power outages.

Great little light
The switch that controls the outlets where my bedroom lamps plug in is not near my bed, so I have to walk a few paces in the dark when I get in or out of it. This nice little light is the perfect solution. It's stylish and solid so it doesn't slide around on my bedside table. The color temperature of the LED lights is toward cool white, which I wouldn't want in LEDs that I leave on, but since I only turn this on for a few minutes per night at most, the light is fine. I suspect the battery life will last a long while the way I intend to use the lamp. The LEDs cast enough light to light a good circle of space. Best of all the "one-touch" on/off switch hardly takes any pressure at all to activate. I've only used my "Light It!" for a few nights so far, but every time I turn it on I find myself muttering "Neat!" Overall this is really nicely designed and extremely functional light. Just what I wanted and well worth it for only $20.

Great Product, Many Uses.
We use these lights so much! When sitting around our picnic table at night, by the fire pit and even when there is a power outage! We ended up buying all of our family a set. Everyone loves having them.

*Something Clever about a Cool Little Lamp Here*
From memory, this little lamp is only about 8 or 9 inches tall. The top sort of "cap" part of the lamp is about 4 inches across. What this means is that this lamp takes up very little real estate. Do you have a cluttered desk but still wish you had room for a small lamp? Well, in all likelihood, you have room for this little guy. The base of the lamp is not metal. It's plastic that looks somewhat metallic. I don't mind this. You power the lamp on and off by touching the top of the lamp. One reviewer mentions that their copper colored lamp only turns on and off by pressing the very top of the dome on the top of the lamp. They seemed to say that they owned a few different colors of this lamp and that the copper colored one was the only one with this "quirk". I have the silver model and it also functions this way. Although it doesn't seem to show it in the picture provided on the lamp's product page, my lamp has an embossed area at the uppermost top of the dome with a power symbol (a circle with a little vertical line) on it. My lamp only powers on and off by touching that raised area...which, for the curious, is about the size of a dime. As for the lamp's function, don't expect one lamp to light up a room the way a floor lamp might. I initially had this on a table in pretty much the middle of a room that's roughly 11' x 14' or so. All I needed this lamp to do was cast enough light for me to get from my bed to a light switch that is totally across the room without stubbing my toe or otherwise hurting myself. I wanted something close to my bed that I could turn on first thing when I woke up and that I could turn off as I was climbing into bed for the night. It does exactly what I need it to do. I wasn't looking for something to use for reading so this doesn't effect me, but I wouldn't recommend this lamp if you're looking for something to use as a bed side reading light. The light emitted by the lamp is very bright in a 1 foot radius around the base of the lamp. Outside of this "circle of light", it gets dark very quickly. I imagine that reading with it while sitting in bed would be about as effective as reading with a flashlight sitting 3 feet away and pointing in the wrong direction. I could see using this lamp to read while sitting at a desk, though, as you could put your reading material in the "circle of light" and be able to see just fine. So...in the end whether or not to buy this for reading is really more a question of how exactly you want to use it. While looking for a lamp, all I really cared about was not needing to plug it into a wall outlet. This way I could put it anywhere (even a table in the middle of the room) without worrying about tripping over a power cord. The touch functionality was not really what I was shopping for, but I'm very pleased with the feature. It's much easier to reach out and touch the top of this lamp than it would be to fumble around trying to find a power switch. The lamp takes 3 AA Batteries which are not included. The batteries supposedly last for 36 hours. They should last me a very long time considering the lamp will only be on for about 5 minutes at a time two or three times a day. I know it says so in the item's name, but it bears mentioning that the bulbs in this lamp are LED's. You probably own several flashlights that use these as the source of light. The quality of the light the lamp casts is very..."cold". This lamp doesn't shine the warm, yellowish or amber sort of light you can get from an incandescent bulb. Don't get me wrong...I'm not complaining...it was just something I noticed and thought I should mention it. Let me end this by saying that I really like my lamp. Very soon I'll be buying one to put on my dresser.

It came with two, one works, one doesn't.
My husband has his comfy chair in the middle of the living room where there is not an electrical outlet. Sometimes he needs a light source to look at his remote control, so I thought this little light would be useful. It is. He just touches it and it lights up. I liked the copper look and decided to get the double pack since the singles were out of stock in that finish. I also ordered rechargeable batteries and a charger so we could obviate throwing spent batteries in the trash, and our outdoor motion-sensitive path lights use the same size batteries. The problem was with the first lamp of the two. It just would not work. Correction, it works if I turn it upside down and shake it. We found this out after spending a whole day, more than 24 hours,o thinking it was the batteries needing to be charged. It was such a frustrating experience I felt like throwing it against the wall. Finally, on day two, we thought to try the freshly discharged-then-charged batteries in the second lamp. It worked as advertised. Apparently the connections in the first lamp are either loose or not aligned properly. It has the batteries in it and if needed to use it, I guess I can jerk it upside down which is a drag. I haven't returned it because it came as a pack of two, and I'm so tired of having to return inferior stuff. When one lives an hour away from a UPS Store, the gas usage alone, never mind losing two hours in driving time, makes it an uninviting option. The one that works is actually just what I had hoped for. The brightness can be adjusted by just holding one's fingers on the top. Unfortunately, the color of the light is blueish. Not good before bed and certainly not the warm living room light we're used to. I would not use this lamp for other than the occasional need to see the remote control. But then, maybe I should've just gotten him a flashlight. All of this rigamarole cost me over $100 and I'm not sure it was worth it all. Yet.
