I've been purchasing WildSide Salmon for years and they are the best cat treat I've found. My cats have rejected all other treats except this one. I have found that if I give them to my cats daily, they get tired of them, and sometimes just walk away. My suggestion is to use them only as occasional treats when you want to reward them. There is always some loose powder in the bag because the salmon pieces are dehydrated and very light weight. Some sloughing off of powder is, therefore, expected. There is usually only a tablespoon or so of this so it isn't objectionable. They'll lick that up in a bowl too. Another retailer told me that the WildSide Salmon Treats for Dogs is exactly the same, so try them on your dog too. The package is really bright and cute so I include them in gift packages to my cat-loving friends.

Our cats love these treats. Ours stayed whole during shipping. Very happy with our purchase!

My senior kitty loves these treats, as well as one of my cats who is very picky. The odd thing is my other cat who is overweight and tends to eat anything won’t touch them. It’s actually super convenient because I can put plenty of these out for my two kitties who I want to eat more without worrying my chonker will come along and snarf them all down as he typically would for anyone else’s food. I break them up for my senior girl to make them easier for her to eat and find that they can vary in texture and density - some are quite hard with the skin attached while others break apart more easily. Some are also a darker brown while others are light. I find my kitties prefer the light colored less dense and hard pieces. They smell quite fresh and tasty - especially compared to the barely there bland smell other varieties I’ve purchased have - and though they’re clearly not for human consumption I took my life in my hands and tasted a tiny piece of one (after all the only ingredient in them is wild freeze dried salmon). They actually tasted really good, lol. Only drawback is the price but since the other treats my cats like that are cheap are filled with all kinds of questionable ingredients, giving them a healthy alternative is worth the splurge. I do question why the price went up by five dollars in the past two months though. I was going to reorder but now I’m going to do some comparison shopping. One thing to consider - the Wild Side freeze dried salmon treats they market for dogs are the same thing, just larger pieces. Since I already break up the pieces for my kitties anyway I always check the price on the dog kind and sometimes find those are cheaper for some reason.

Great product. Only treat my cat will do tricks for. 3 bags is maybe too much though. Its a lot to go through before it get stale and fishy. Maybe if you have a lot of cats or are consistent with giving them lots of treats you could do it.
