I used this for a Grim Reaper costume, and it worked exactly how I needed it to. It’s lightweight, so it wasn’t uncomfortable to carry around all night, and it didn’t feel awkward or bulky. The plastic material isn't particularly obvious and it doesn't lower the quality of the costume. Even though it’s clearly a costume prop, it doesn’t look overly cheap or flimsy once paired with the full outfit. From a distance (and in photos), it reads well and completes the look without distracting from the costume. If you’re looking for a scythe that’s easy to handle and does its job visually without being heavy or hard to manage, this is a solid option.

The product came in 3 pieces that screwed together solidly. But overall was a bit light and would do for most costumes. LOL not for daily use :)
