once the phone screen is clean, just putting a few drops at a time and buffing it in takes no time, and it dry's very fast. i put on like 5 coats in about 10 min or less and it makes a difference. yes my screen still gets fingerprints but now it looks like a fingerprint and not just a big smudge of finger oil, and its easier to clean off. 10/10 will buy again, just so you know this is real rubber baby buggy bumpers

The oleophobic solution comes in a very small vial about the size of a cologne sample. The kit claims it’s enough for up to three applications or devices, but that wasn’t my experience. I applied two coats to my phone, waiting an hour between each application, and it made no noticeable difference to the glass. Fingerprints and smudges still show up just as easily as before. I was planning to try a third application, but there was barely any solution left in the vial, so there wasn’t enough product to do another proper coat. Overall, the product did not improve fingerprint resistance on my phone at all and did not perform as advertised and based on the other reviews of this product, I should’ve stayed away from it.

I applied 3 coats to my phone's camera lens (Pixel 6a lens protector) which did not come with any coating from the factory. It was rather hard to put on as the liquid is very thin and has almost no surface tension, and there is no real applicator that'd allow you to put on controlled drops. You basically pour it out and hope for the best. The camera lens sits below the surface of my phone's case, so it's not exposed to much wear. Still, the majority of the coating came off in a couple days and it only remains in the centre. It worked wonderfully when it was on, but it came off so quick that I can't recommend you buy it for anything that's going to experience much wear. It'll work great for things that you don't intend to touch, it will help you prevent accidental smudges on things like a real camera lens, but it's not suitable for something like a phone that's rubbing in your pocket all day.

The coating kit was simple to apply, and the results were noticeable. The surface feels much smoother, and fingerprints are less visible now. The included tools made the process easier. However, it would be great if there were clearer instructions for beginners.

5 stars. I have a 4.5 year old phone with many deep scratches at the edges. I cleaned the phone and followed the instructions and nearly 3 weeks later I still feel the oleophobic coating is working well. I have cleaned the screen with water and a cleaning product several times and the phone still has a smoothness similar to when it was new. Regarding the ability to hide scratches- that is also not bad. The tiny hairline scratches are still hidden nearly 3 weeks later. The medium scratches initially looked better but became noticeable once I cleaned the screen with a cleaner and wiped it down a few times. I used between 1/4 to 1/3 of the liquid to coat my phone and watch so I should be able to use this for several months to a year. For the money, this is a good temporary fix. I will not replace the screen on a 4.5 year old phone but I am wanting to maximize the use I get out of this phone so I'm not wanting to buy a new phone yet either. This product works for my needs.

Not seeing any difference after several applications

My oleophobic coating has come off on the lower third of my screen. Still intact on the upper part. I bought this thinking I'd at least get a few weeks of improvement- nope. Not even a few hours. In fact, I can barely tell any difference at all. I've tried it three different ways. As directed in packaging, leaving it overnight, not wiping any residual off for hours. It's all the same, no improvement. I tried one last time last night and even as I type this I can see my fingerprint on my screen at the bottom. Total garage and waste of money. I don't know how they coat it at the factory, but this ain't it.

I used this most recently on my Samsung S24 Ultra, which was always covered in fingerprints before applying Oleopel, despite adequate hand-washing and cleaning the screen. Oleopel drastically changed things for the better! As a Retail Store Manager at a large cellular communications company, I have tried about 10 different oleophobic coatings and liquid glass screen protectors on various Android phones in the past 2 years: this one easily takes the cake as far as fingerprint-proofing your phone! This product provides a superior oleophobic coating to your phone's screen - say goodbye to fingerprints!!! You will absolutely love the buttery-smooth feel of using your phone after you apply this. No issues at all with using the fingerprint scanner on my phone. A word of advice: after you thoroughly clean and dry your phone with the included spray and microfiber cloth, apply the appropriate amount of Oleopel as per the directions and then *LET IT SIT OVERNIGHT*. Then buff out the residual coating on your screen in the morning to finish. This is the magic step, which *IS* included as a suggestion in the directions. Enjoy!! (Edit: spelling)
